Update #2 [Fri 15th Apr, 2022 03:00 BST]: This copy of the game can no longer be accessed, and Nintendo has also asked the same Switch user to remove footage and screenshots of the title from social media.

"Nintendo got in touch about the screens and clips, so they're gone and I won't be posting anymore. I'm hopeful that the game will be out soon for everyone though. Maybe? #AdvanceWars"

Update [Thu 14th Apr, 2022 04:45 BST]: Well, it seems this accidental early access period is now over. The same Twitter user provided an update, revealing how Nintendo was supposedly cancelling the purchase of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp and would be providing a refund.

"Rachael@killetheth - RE: #AdvanceWars, Nintendo have sent an email saying they're cancelling my purchase and refunding. was fun while it lasted! got a few missions of the first game's campaign done"

"RE: #AdvanceWars again, I'm aware they can't revoke my ability to play it if I'm offline. at the same time, once they refund me for it, it would be illegal to still play... so there's that..."

Although the Switch user was only able to play through a "few missions" of the first game's campaign, there was some additional footage and screenshots of the upcoming release.

Original article [Sun 10th Apr, 2022 03:00 BST]: A Nintendo Switch owner who preloaded a copy of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has apparently been granted access to the full digital version of the game. Twitter user @killetheth shared a look at the game's opening and tutorial segment across a series of tweets:

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was delayed again by Nintendo last month due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. It was meant to be released this week on 8th April.
