Nintendo Switch Year in Review

Update: While Switch owners in Europe haven't been able to get in on the fun with Nintendo's Year In Review website, emails from Nintendo have now started to be sent out to fans with the same information included.

If you happen to receive one of these emails, it'll be sent to the address that's linked to your Nintendo account with the subject 'Your 2020 Nintendo Switch Year in Review is here!'. In our case, our UK-based news editor Ryan received the following, with plenty more stats included too:

Original Article (Wed 23rd Dec, 2020 03:45 GMT): 2020 has almost come to a close, and to wrap things up, Nintendo has now sent its 'Switch Year In Review' page live.

Provided you've got an account registered in the United States or Canada, all you have to do is sign in on the Nintendo website to see all of your own personalised stats. As noted by Nintendo, it'll reveal your most-played game, total hours and much more.

If you don't have an account in this region, but are still curious to know what it all looks like, there's no need to worry...

We've called on "core gamer" and American-based video producer Zion Grassl to share his own highlights. We even asked him what the go is with October 29 being his most active day. Here's what he had to say:

"I was playing Jurassic World Evolution, and left my Switch running for a while to try and earn extra money from my park, and I ended up playing that game so much that day to prepare for and unlock content for our Nintendo Life video."
