About The Game
The future of Mega Man has arrived.
Hundreds of years after his death, Dr. Light's final creation is discovered. Released from his capsule by Dr. Cain, X is born into a future world where robot rebellions are a thing of the past. But when Dr. Cain tries to implement Dr. Light's designs into a new series of Reploids, something goes horribly wrong. Now the future lies on the brink of destruction, and X must use all of his newfound powers and abilities to hunt down the maverick Reploids and their leader, Sigma, before the human race is wiped from the planet.

Does Megaman X still have the insane difficulty of the NES versions? I would love to get into the series, but I feel alienated because all the NES Megaman games are just too freakking hard. And this is coming from a guy who has beaten most of the Mario platformers.
Megaman 1, 2, 3 for NES are so tough I can't even beat them with Game Genie codes

@Ryno: FYI, Super Mario Brothers 2 & 3 are the only Mario Platformers that I haven't legitimately beaten. That and Lost Levels.
Mario 1, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land (GB), Mario 64, Sunshine, Mario 64 DS (100%), New Mario Brothers DS, Galaxy, New Mario Brothers Wii, and Galaxy 2. For M64, Sunshine, and Galaxy, I earned 100+ stars. I've also beaten all three Paper Marios as well, with 100% badges earned on the N64 one.
This game is the ****.
One of the best Mega Man...scrap that, one of the best action games I've ever played. Too bad I already have MMX Collection, otherwise I'd buy this without hesitation.

If you already own a PS2, you'd be better off getting the Mega Man X Collection, which even has the Playstation version of Mega Man X3!

This game is great but like TheMagicEmperor said you are kinda better off getting the x collection but remember that collection is rare so its really hard to find and trust me i took me a good while to find it.

My first Megaman game. Too easy to Master. The game itself I had rented "Mario's Time Machine" to impress my father, while he said "Get something fun" and we went back and got MMX. It was soo cooee playing this on the projector or an big 50" Trinitron tv. Those were the days
MMX Collection on the PS2/GCN sucks period. The game is not properly emulated. The same with the Saturn version of MMX3.
Big waste of time then not to get the SNES original or the void of the internet.
There is also an bunch of clones for the Mega Drive, NES, and Gameboy.
@StarDust4Ever quit crying about that and just play the game fair and square. You know what is funny about MM2 is the Kamen Rider ending with Willlys 70's Space age room. Runniest thing I have ever seen.
