Nintendo released a new trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that shows custom item designs and the game's clothing UI – and then pulled it from YouTube.
Thankfully, it has since been re-uploaded on a variety of sites, so you can see what the fuss is all about. The 15-second clip is mostly stuff we already know, but it does show that players will be able to apply their own unique designs to certain items in the game (the example, in this case, being a chair).
The game's clothing UI is also shown off, and we've given a quick look at the iconic Able Sisters' building, too.
Did Nintendo jump the gun on this a little, and perhaps these details weren't supposed to be revealed until the upcoming Animal Crossing Direct broadcast? Let us know your thoughts with a comment.

This is by far my most anticipated title since BotW.
New Horizons - broadened then cropped.
Just can't wait for this game, I sold my 3DS ages ago so need my daily animal crossing fix.
Whoops Nintendo..... We have all seen it😂😂
All I'm asking for is Puzzle League with multiplayer!
@johnvboy ; sold mine years ago too. Although my daughter still has her 3DS with ACNL I haven't played it for years. Come to think of it, I don't think she has played it in a while either
I haven't seen the trailer yet, and will not see it until I've seen the AC direct, and Nintendo themselves to reupload the video.
Too early, perhaps. Although there's a certain kind of irony in a phrase like "pulling an official trailer for unannounced features" since you'd think its publication would technically make them "announced".
Is that it, not much of a spoiler is it really? Looking forward to the direct later though
@carlos82 Agreed, I'm more curious about the online features, Amiibo functionality, and what we can REALLY expect to see in the next few hours.
I mean that doesn't really spoil much, does it?
@Welshland,
Getting closer all the time, thinking of buying a Switch Lite for my daughter and two copies of the game.
I had to watch it twice and I'm still not sure what was new in the video. It's only 15 seconds.
This game has been at the top of my wish list since the Switch dropped. But at the same time it's such a chill series that I'm not super dying for info. I just want to play it.
Though I do want to know how the game uses Amiibo. I've still got a couple dozen of them sitting on my shelf.
@Damo Nintendo Direct today at 2pm! Just got an email EDIT - didn't see your Colleague's post in the feed until now =0p
Well... Custom furniture designs. Can't see how that can go wrong, especially for those who'll just turn the town into a creepy horror setting.
I forgot the direct is today lol.
Hope they let us know shortly after about a general Direct. I want a full direct with what they are preparing for 2020.
Did you guys see?
SLOPES
@Heavyarms55,
I am hoping you can invite the certain animal into you town, and I am also hoping for the Amiibo cards to also be supported with the ame feature, I loved having Bones the dog in my town last time.
@The-Chosen-one don’t hold your breath. Unless botw2 is coming this year, Animal Crossing will be their biggest game this year. They aren’t going to focus on other games until after this one comes out. We are still in the marketing cycle for Pokémon as well
I saw..... Able Sister Clothing Store
@Xaessya and Meteos!
