Ten bucks. That's what I'm waiting for. Might be ridiculous, and some of you will probably flame me for this, but my Switch/3DS/Wii U/PS4 gaming queue is so long with already-purchased titles that I'm just going to wait until a title (digital or otherwise) I want is $10, then it's an instabuy. On my list: Untitled Goose Game, My Friend Pedro, Sumer, The Stretchers, The Touryst, and Cuphead. I haven't even started Mario Rabbids or Crypt of the Necrodancer yet, or Twilight Princess HD, or Wind Waker HD, and I'm only like 7 puzzles into Baba Is You. (I did just finally finish The Adventure of Link. Now I'm on Katrielle and the Millionaire's Conspiracy on 3DS.)

Used to be $12, when I bought Rocket League (x2 for both Switches in the house). Then RL dropped to $10 for some other promotion. Now it's $10.

I'll pay retail for Luigi's Mansion 3 and BOTY2, and if Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time ever gets Switch ported, I'd buy that. Lego Skywalker Saga, sure. Can't think of much else.

Cadence of Hyrule is such a fun co-op game. I've played through it 4 times now and enjoy the ever changing layouts and the nods to Breath of the Wild design.

Oh hell yeah...I've been waiting for a sale on Witcher 3. Also Mario Odyssey because I have the cartridge, but I want to transition to digital only. Still gonna keep the cartridges I do have though. I may also get Cadence of Hyrule and Crypt of the Necrodancer. 80% off for Crypt sounds like a deal!

@AJ81 @Giygas_95. Yep, it was the Black Friday sale. I had been waiting for it to drop to $200 or less and jumped at the opportunity. I know it may very likely go lower in the not too distant future (I was burned on my previous 400GB sd card purchase) but after comparing the cents-per-GB of other cards - courtesy of an article here at Nintendolife - I figured it was unlikely to go any lower than $130 any time soon, and that extra $70 was worth it to get all of my games in one place spooner rather than later.

@BoilerBroJoe I was out of room on my 400. I could have gone up to 512, but I figured eventually I was gonna need the 1 TB anyway. It's soooo nice, I have all my games on one card and still have almost 500 GB left.

...I'll wait for a bigger discount on Octopath Traveler. I enjoyed my time with it as a rental, but not enough to put more than $30 on it.

Edit: Then again, I think that's the lowest I'll grab Octopath Traveler on the eShop, so...I'll jump on it.

@cherryghost41 It's a fun game, great mechanics. The story isn't horrible but it's split in 8 directions and sort of jumbled because of it.

Finally jumping on Celeste, I'd be nuts not to at $12 CAD.

Picked up Witcher 3 Complete Edition on PS4 for $20 during Black Friday. Candence of Hyrule is the only thing I want from the list.

@Patron yeah I actually played the 3 hour demo and really enjoyed the art style and the combat but, just never got around to buying the game.

@zach777 Here’s my impressions of the 3-5 hours I put into the game . Majority of the combat is spent top down mildly engaging hack & slashing with some level variety that changes it up somewhat. Expect to fight the same enemy’s over and over again.The boss levels are easily the best part of the game that sports interesting character designs and are far more engaging to fight with interesting back story’s . The games co-op is immediately hampered if your doing a first run with a friend as you have to read mandatory long text box expositions that break the flow. Majority of levels made me feel I was just going through the motions not really engaged in anything, just going to A to B. If your a fan of the suda 51 and know what your getting into you will most likely enjoy it. While I had more enjoyment hearing the ost then anything else.

I always look forward to coming to a specialist Nintendo site frequented by people who want to hear all about what's going on in the world of gaming on Nintendo devices, only to be told exactly what's going on in the Sony and PC world and how much cheaper it is in every single article. A nice shiny trophy is in the post.

Probably will be getting some of the games that never went on sale in the US before: Cadence, Yooka-Laylee, Sayonara, and Edith Finch.

Why is Doom and Wolfenstein 2 still that expensive ? Doom has been out on Switch over two years and Wolfenstein 2 about year and half. They should be $20 at this point regular price.

I have to wait, but I STILL have not played Mario Odyssey yet, I have no idea why. lol
