2019 – and the decade – may be rumbling to its conclusion, but we've still got a month of Switch-related goodness to get through, so don't fear if you're on the lookout for some last-minute interactive entertainment before Father Christmas arrives.

These include the likes of Alien: Isolation, Heroland, Farming Simulator 20, Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection and Shovel Knight: King of Cards. Not a bad month, all told.

After a ridiculous busy few months of physical releases, the last of my preorders for the year have finally arrived this week and I have no more on the way in December. A nice, quiet end to the year so I can try to work through a bit of my overwhelming backlog. Maybe two or three small indie titles from the eShop but that's about it.
Alien isolation and AC black Flag for me to play on the go. I completed black flag on PS4, wonder how it will compare to the switch version? I just want to be able to replay it during my commute.
For next year NISA is carrying with Langrisser 1/2, La-Mulana 1/2 and RPG Maker (which I'm half expecting to have been cancelled at this point tbqh) but aside from those, things are looking extremely barren at the moment in my eyes, it has been quite a while too since that has been the case. That Nintendo Direct can't come soon enough, just give me my Shin Megami Tensei 5 news already.
I guess Panzer Dragoon was moved to 2020? I missed that. Thought it was coming in December. Oh well, I'll still get it when it drops.
Alien: Isolation, and Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection, are the ones I already have pre-ordered for this month. May look into the Shovel Knight collection thing too, as I have a couple already. But for now, these two, with my backlog, will keep me busy.
I’m thankful for videos like these-I didn’t know anything about Heroland, but it looks interesting and is definitely on my keep-an-eye-on list.
However, the December game I’m most excited about is Star Ocean! Unless that too was delayed?
I think just AC for me. Will be nice to play Rogue again.
none time of the year for me to try and catch up with the backlog, i have to many bangers in the waiting
AC Rebel Edition for me. Always told myself I'd buy it for Switch if it was ported.
I'll probably pick up Assassin's Creed. I wanted Alien Isolation but since the Switch version is digital only I'll just stick with my PS4 copy. Unless something else pops up, I can't really think of any other games to get this month....
@Prof_Yoshtonics Panzer Dragoon has always been a winter release, which means anytime from Dec 21 to Mar 21st.
Getting the free update for Shovel Knight but apart from that my Switch purchase plans is catching up with purchases over the past few months because September was such insanity. Maybe this new strategy will make first half of 2020 less painful if Nintendo decides to not have much going on like first half of this year.
Did I miss it or did you guys forget Ashen? That's my most anticipated December game.
I've been trying to watch out for Star Ocean, personally - although eShop's "coming soon" section isn't very cooperative. Or did the game get delayed while I wasn't looking?

@wazlon the first theme i'm not so sure, the second theme they used in this video is Jingle's Theme from Animal Crossing series.
Gunslinger is my most looked forward to switch release for the month. Cant wait to have that gem on the go.
@sketchturner Ashen looks better than most of these games, though the list is good. How did they miss it? I think they need to revise the list.
Farm Simulator 20 will be the new release I snag. I'm also getting Isolation and Assassin's Creed, I own all three of the games but enjoyed them so damn much that its a no brainer purchase for me.
I have nothing else to look forward to on Switch, hopefully some more games get announced early next year. I still have $50 on the eShop and nothing to spend it on.

FFVII / FFVIII is the only one i will get for december. Nothing else of interest.
December is looking pretty bleak to be honest. A port of Super Mario 3D World would have been a nice way to round out the year... but nope. Put all their eggs in the Pokemon basket, predictably.
I've passed on Pokemon and I don't enjoy Animal Crossing (but hope to see something new and interesting to tempt me) so yea, a far from wondrous Winter!
A January direct is the best I can hope for now!
