@Trajan, It's just a marketing ploy for the high street to make a few extra quid. Mind you about 5 years ago there were riots in my local Tesco's/Asda over TV's.

Well, not only are some of these deals sucky, but I received my retro SNES posters from the My Nintendo rewards programme today... Except they're all Splatoon posters, instead... No idea what to do with them.

Hopefully amazon or Game have better offers.

If you get the Animal Crossing New 3DS XL with Happy Home designer, either Pokemon Sun/Moon and a case, it gives an additional discount which drops the price to £122.

On top of that, Nintendo Store UK were sending out magazines with 10% discount codes. If you apply the discount, you then pay £109.80 for the whole shebang which is pretty good considering the Animal Crossing New 3DS XL is £210 by itself (more than a switch lite!).

Just food for thought for anyone looking for a budget console.

@Jayofmaya I got an email telling me splatoon posters got sent by mistake and that the others were on the way soon. Told me to keep the splatoon ones.

Also don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the Nintendo UK Store has got the official Smash Bros Ultimate GameCube Controllers and the GameCube controller adapter available for pre-order for a late January 2020 dispatch. You'll find them under the Nintendo Switch Accessories.

Can people please buy that goddamn Star Fox t-shirt already. I'm sick of seeing it all the time. They need to just bundle it free with any purchase over 50p at this point.

@Trajan Actually, the police are allowed to carry fire arms, sometimes and obviously the military, too. The ruling class do whatever they want as always. I personally don't believe in guns in any nation. If there was a reason for a united government for all nations and destruction of borders, it would probably be that. However, I also believe that a global governance would be fatal eventually, too. However, free speech is much the same here. Internet restrictions are getting tighter, though. Can't be having the free press reporting the truth about corrupt officials and elite pedo rings all over the globe. US is no different, we just unfortunately have a monarchy to pile onto the garbage.

I think Nintendo has misunderstood the whole concept of Black Friday!

@Jayofmaya our founding fathers guarenteed us firearms in the event that such a government would take place. Unfortunately I don't think anyone cares, or has the guts to do anything anymore. Furthermore that right itself is eroding.

We're turning into some sort of consumerist 1984.

@Trajan You're exactly right, with giant corporations and government leeching all our personal info and using cell microphones to listen to conversations. I'm sure you've seen it all for yourself, but blind consumerism and celebrity culture are indeed the current empire's coliseum of today. I guess we can live somewhat comfortably ourselves for now, but things aren't going to get better at the current pace of absolute apathy.
