UK chart data is now in for the week ending 26th October, revealing that Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure has fallen to seventh position after its impressive third place debut last week.
Strangely enough, the game actually saw a 5% increase in sales this week compared to last, but with plenty of new releases arriving on the scene, it still wasn't enough to stay near the top.
Instead, it was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which managed to grab number one this week, with other newcomers like WWE 2K20 and The Outer Worlds landing not too far behind. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still doing the business for Nintendo, too, finding itself just behind the new titles in sixth; despite its drop down the pecking order, the game actually saw a 2% sales increase from last week.
Here's a look at this week's top ten all formats chart:

Mighty Pectoralis Major record is 260
Who can beat?
God I wish MediEvil was coming to Switch! Anyone know if there's a chance it could be ported?
@Otoemetry It's owned by Sony. So nah
Weird to not point this out from the original source:
"One of the more striking is Ring Fit Adventure on Nintendo Switch. The game is one of a rare few that has performed better in its second week than its first week, with sales up 5% week-on-week. Nevertheless, with all the new releases, it drops down the charts to No.7."
Surely that is noteworthy?
Why did the UK software charts decide to list an unfinished prototype at #3?
WWE 2K20 at number 3?
Ew.
@Dringo Curses. If only Sony played nicer
More people bought WWE than The Outer Worlds? What are you doing, gamers? Could you not be bothered to read a single review?
Really looking forward to Outer Worlds coming to Switch!
@Krull to be fair, it is on Xbox game pass.
If Ring Fit Adventure maintains its legs, it could be the sleeper hit of the holidays. A 5% sales increase from Week 1 to Week 2 is very encouraging, especially given that we are in the holidays (yet).
It's no Labo, that's for sure.
Lol at more people buying WWE 2K20 over The Outer Worlds.
You do know that it takes big round people more time to get to the store. Just give them a couple weeks and then ring fit adventure will shoot up to #1.
No wonder they keep churning some of these franchises. Fifa basically has a license to print money. They don't even have to make a new game. Just update the old one and bobs your uncle.
Considering the hype around it Medievil didn't have a great opening over here, plus it's currently at a 68% on Metacritic. What happened here?
I look forward to trying the ring fit early next year when it will be 90% off. Or maybe I can it get from the local pawnshop. It will right next to the aberciser.
@StinkyHat it’s pretty on par for the original.
If the cumbersome controls of PS1 era hack and slash games give you nostalgia, it’s great.
Otherwise, you may be wondering why people are nostalgic for it
I've thought it intriguing, but I'm more curious about the next Labo project, should it ever come.
@Toy_Link Well, they have a piece of synthetic gambling software, were you will ever only loose money, in the 2nd spot. Clearly, this is a case of ... everything goes. But really what are we talking about here? That's a list including 'Ghost Reached Breakingpoint" ... which pure existence is a insult to dumpster fires everywhere! The notion that something ought not be on SUCH a list, does not adhere to the basic principles of logical deduction.
I feel for the people that bought WWE 2k20, it just continues to prove you can sell people poop on a stick and they'll still buy it.
@matdub
It’s extremely rare that Nintendo games get discounted, let alone 90%! You will be waiting a while for that to happen, especially as it is showing signs of being at least a moderately successful game both critically and commercially. The 90% sale will happen, just elsewhere.
Ahhh order is restored. Bobbing guns and FIFA at the top of the UK charts.
Surely that’s rare for a game to increase sales from week one?! Most games see a massive drop off in sales after their debut. Very good, encouraging!
At this point, we'll not see a MK sequel until next system, with people still buying the bananas off of MK8DX and MK Tour.
Where's 11-20? The UK charts usually have the top 20.
Next week GTAV will probably return to the top 10.
@Ghost-Piece it’s number 5 on the European eShop right now, which is encouraging.
I was interested in MediEvil until I found out about there are no checkpoints. If you die you have to start from the beginning of an entire level, that's enough to put me off.
I see what you did there with the title.
Strong second week eh
It's funny COD been out there that long and it takes a Fit game this short time to beat and stay on the upper charts when released. COD makes new version to but doesn't improve game play. That should tell you they have lack of innovations to do more aka sony.
