Reminder: Nintendo's E3 Sale Ends Tomorrow, Save Up To 50% On Switch Games (Europe)

Heads-Up, oddly enough Nintendo lists the Shantae Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition in their promotional blog on Switch and the eShop landing page for the sale lists the Shantae Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition but without the discount. I guess somebody goofed up by composing the blog post on the Switch.

Some of those are really small, like “a pint of beer” level of small. Was interested in the FF titles but will wait for a bigger reduction. Others are okay but nothing I’m after.

Wish the XC2 expansion pass was purchasable digitally as a stand alone from the main game... Guess there is always the Torna retail cart.

@BenAV Same. I really fancy FFVII. It’s my wife’s favourite game. But I’m putting off paying £10+ for it when I bought it as a PSone Classic on PSN for my Vita for just £7.99, not even on sale.

I just bought Crypt of the NecroDancer. I've been keeping an eye on this one for a while and getting it this cheap is a good way to see what to expect from Cadence of Hyrule.

@Lemmy_the_Koopa To be honest the whole Shantae sale is a bit of a goof up, the game and DLCs discounted amount to around the same price of the ultimate edition.
Maybe that's why they accidentally linked that version instead, it's the same as buying the one on sale afterall.

Got all the one I wanted already, except Celeste as waiting for my physical from Limited Run.

Still not sure about Crypt of NecroDancer, wish the West had a demo version

Sorry Nintendo but Steam and Playstation Store showed that you can do much better than this and still have profit. Nintendo won't go out of business if it offers real discounts. 2-3$ off a overpriced price is still 20$ more than it should be

Can someone answer this for me because I am confused, is Cadence of Hyrule a standalone game? So I don't need CoN to play it?

@Mogster Cadence is a standalone game, not DLC, so you do not need Necrodancer.

Btw £5 for Hollow Knight is INSANE!

@Bunkerneath with regards to Crypt, you can't go wrong for this price. Personally I really enjoyed the game and can recommend it to you, but indeed it is not for everyone. Still, for 4 euro's giving it a shot will not hurt your wallet that much.

Hollow Knight and Wargroove are STEALS at those prices.

I guess they're putting Crypt on sale to whet peoples appetite.

Picked up crypt of the NecroDancer as I wanted to experience cadence of hyrule like gameplay, but didn’t want to spend £22.50 on it, £3.60 is such a steal.

Hollow Knight at that price is a no brainer. I put over 100hrs in to it, an absolutely astounding game, please give it a go if you’re curious and enjoy.

Going to pick up Celeste and Cuphead finally... was thinking about Wargroove but we’ll see.

I was waiting for Wargroove to go on sale, I can’t believe it has so much off so soon but hey I’m not complaining. I’ll buy that & maybe pick up this £84 vouchers for Smash Bros then wait to see the reviews for MUA 3 to see if it’s worth it but I might just hold out the other voucher for Astral Chain because that looks better every time I see it. If Platinum make it with that ‘Bayonetta’ & ‘Neir Automata’ magic then it’ll be as great as it looks.

Does the Switch version of Hollow Knight contain all of the DLC from the PC version, like “Gods & Nightmares”?

Fantastic discount for the Crypt of the necrodancer. Good way to get into it before I'll try Cadence of Hyrule. I also downloaded Unravel two and Undertale (even if the Undertale discount isn't super), but man I got quite the download-games backlog on Switch already...

How much is that Luigi's Mansion sale, all others have or not buying. My 3DS is not connected.

I've picked up Lego City Undercover, NBA Playgrounds 2 and Goat Simulator for 50% off, all for multiplayer purposes. Also picked up Starlink for 70%, which is about the right price for that game. It's gorgeous, impressive and repetitive.

Ok, I bought Crypt of the Necrodancer, not my type of game at all. Like the tunes but the game itself, nope.

That said, if you haven't bought Hollow Knight and you like Metroidvanias, what are you waiting for?? It's amazing.

Also, if you like Mega Drive/Master System Sonic the Hedgehog and you haven't played Sonic Mania, what is wrong with you?? GET IT

@Hissscratch139 I did the same and im loving the game!!! very hard, but yet, so rewarding.. when i saw they have local multiplayer co-op i thought, i can't go wrong!! eager to play cadence, but since mario maker is coming, ill wait a sale..

Just a heads up. Crypt of the Necrodancer is quite a bit harder than Cadence of H. It took me a long time to get good in Crypt whereas in CoH you only need an hour or so and a few permanent upgrades like the broad sword and heart pieces and it becomes a little easier and so much fun!! Both are great but CoH is special and I mean really special.
