It seems like the free-to-download title Asphalt 9: Legends will have some friendly competition in the near future, with publisher Lion Castle announcing Racer is speeding onto the Switch at the end of 2019. The arcade street racing game will be available in both physical and digital form.
Racer is built on the foundations of Lion Castle's previous title, Super Street: The Game. Team6' Rebel Games division has taken all of the feedback from the community about its existing release, to ensure the latest game can "bring an even more complete and exciting" experience.
In Racer, you'll build a car from scratch using hundreds of authentic car parts from the biggest aftermarket brands. You can customise your vehicle's interior, exterior and performance. Once you're done, you can then enjoy speeding through the streets of Los Angeles, drifting in Tokyo and burning rubber in the Nevada desert. All of these environments will supposedly "push the limits" of the Switch and deliver the highest quality portable visuals possible.

For me? I have only bought racing games published by Sabertooth Fort. Best racing games to be honest.
All right, another racing game on the way!! ^.^; I am interested, and, according to the description, very probably there is traffic on the roads and good races.
However, my only point that still does not please me in this kind of games is to emphasize the importance of "tuning", in other words, that the visual modification of the cars has more importance than the races; and I clarify that I am not against the "tuning" / "visual modifications", but, and I repeat, that this is more important than the races is not to my liking...

By the way, the previous game never reached America, or at least, not in Mexico, I searched for it in the eShop and it is not there, I suppose it's because of Super Street magazine's license, right? If so, then this game will also not be available in America too...
Hurrah another racing game! Even if its from a studio, series or brand I never heard of! At least it's not a mobile port right?

Oh come on guys, please... you both know very well that the genre is ruled by Kitty Bungalow.
That title sounds so generic and lame. Really Racer? Just one word? What's wrong with calling it Super Street Racer? That would had sound so much better and more hype. Calling it Racer just sounded like a working title rather than a unique final title.

It's part of a new series from them. The next games are called "Shooter" and "Platformer". š

Oddly enough, in the screenshot above it's called "Super Street Racer".
Afaik, Super street hasnāt released in the U.K yet. I believe itās slated for September. So Iāve no idea where it has actually been released š±

Great now i'm getting my hopes up again that another realistic looking racing game has the potential to be great.

@retro_player_22 Does no one remember Street Racer on the Super Nintendo? I thought it was Super Street Racer, but I checked and am apparently wrong. Anyway, this sounds complicated with the tons of car parts, which is not why I play racers. XD
