It's the month of ports > Amazing new games
If they put a pic of Hello Kitty where that crown is on that Gamecube controller I think they'd sell even more of them in Japan. As is that controller is just BEGGIN' for a "Frozen 2" Switch game.
i want to see a direct soon
No mention of Final Fantasy 12 again came out yesterday.
looking forward to super mario maker 2.
now nintendo needs to release an updated or HD version of super mario 64. one that allows for two player co-op play.
Most of these are for July.
nothing until mm2, sigh
why is wolf YB so cheap, wolf 2 is still £45 on amazon
Just Mario Maker 2 but now I have to make sure my store is getting in the stylus.
May's a nothing month unless Team Sonic Racing ends up being good. June is promising though with Crash Team Racing and Mario Maker 2.
Well...
My shopping list so far, with some changes.
1. FF XII the Zodiac Age (Switch) for this May 2019. I will get rid my PS4 version once i got the Switch version.
2. Two 3DS games for this May 2019 also (Yokai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad and........)
3. Pokemon Black 2 NDS probably will be arrived from Ebay either end of May or early June 2019.
4. Yokai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps on June 2019. Maybe i can add with Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Wii U.....
5. PS2 Slim Silver USA (used) from Ebay on July 2019. I will order from my friend on June 2019.
Mario Maker, AI: The Somnium Files, Peach Ball, Umihara Kawase Fresh! (my Japanese copy should already be waiting for me when I get back home), Kotodama, CTR, Fire Emblem and Dragon Quest Builders 2 for me.
Also got Cytus Alpha, Crystal Crisis, Atelier Lulua and World End Syndrome preordered.
I might have been interested in the Resident Evil collection but that's absurdly expensive for a couple of old games with only one being on the cartridge so I can't justify letting Capcom have my money for that.
Nothing really for me in May (the new Sonic Racing game MIGHT be something I pick up, but I'd need a demo of it first tbh), but June and July are STACKED for me. Got a bunch of games pre-ordered already and a few others I want but haven't pre-ordered yet (mostly because I refuse to pay over £40 for any game lol).
Assassins Creed 3
Mario Maker 2
Fire Emblem Three Houses
There are 8 rehashed old games on Switch just in MAY - not sure what the "big release" is 🙄
I'll play RAGE2 in MAy - hold me till Mutant Year Zero in Jun on Switch..
6 months into 2019 - Switch finally gets a good month of new big titles in JULY. Can't wait for that!
resident evil's. then e3 and some cool geme launching 5th of june (metroid?) who cares, just give us games .
@rjejr That's pretty much every month though.
Hopefully with 3DS support winding up they'll release more than drip feed of hit or miss games on Switch...But I highly doubt it.
Capcom annoys with lack of physical in Europe
cheese and crackers that is a lot of money I have to spend.
hmmm I try the first one of sonic races and it suck..
Is Youngblood a shorter campaign like The Old Blood, hence the lower price?
I'd forgotten about For The King too...
@Tao "That's pretty much every month though."
I'd say every other month. April had Yoshi and Labo VR. June has SMM2 and Crash. July has at least 3 new 3rd party games w/ DQB2, MUA3 and Wolfenstein which aren't all old ports. And the rest of the year I think looks ok, with hopefully some dates and new games at E3.
Now that every month needs to be amazing, I was just reacting to the title of the earlier article.
I’m still on the fence about AC3. Neverplayed AC before, but I like the theme and gameplay, but heard that, at least before the patches, it is the worst of the 7.
Resident Origins price is a wall for me. I want them and inevitably the price will go down. Maybe I can pick them up with one of the Target combos buy 2 get 1 free.
Excited for SMM 2 although I have, and will have, so little time to give to it.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 because my wife might actually play co-op with me as she binged Hyrule Warriors back in the day and we're both, duh, on a bit of a Marvel kick.
Maybe Sonic Team Racing or Fire Emblem, but probably not for a while.
Assassins creed III since they wanna clown around with giving us Odyssey.
Team Sonic racing
Bubsy because screw Sonic
and KLK and Senran Kagura in far, far, far future.
What the hell happened to Ninjala?
I will also get for digital resident evil 4 and Castlevania collection.
Only Mario Maker 2 matters.
I think it's worth mentioning that Hollow Knight gets its physical release on 5/31. Quite looking forward to it!
Battle Worlds Kronos looks good!
No news on cadence of hyrule?
There's a big game each month for me, fortunately. I'll be picking up Team Sonic Racing (not sure if for PS4 or Switch yet) in May, Mario Maker 2 in June, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses in July. Plus, Wolfenstein: Youngeblood and Crash Team Racing are maybes for me.
Solid months.
@Radbot42 What are you talking about?
@BenAV You seem to buy Japanese video games only, huh?
@Custom1991 Eh, I wouldn't say that. I don't really care where games are made, just buy whatever I think looks good. Probably into more Japanese than Western stuff in general but certainly not exclusively. Buy a lot of Western indie games.
@BenAV Why do you people keep saying Western when talking about non-Japanese games?
@BenAV What are your favorite video game franchises?
I guess fire emblem will be the only must buy 🤔 will be my first proper experience with the series (just quickly played some gba title before)
Was thinking into picking Youngblood because I liked the Terror Twins but maybe it's not worth the sd space
I'm suspecting Mario maker 2 will need the online subscription... I don't think the service is good enough to pay for the other games... Not sure if I would pay just for Mario maker, but lots of 2d mario levels is a tempting idea
Also I really liked the Infinite War movie, way more pessimistic than most super hero movies, will check for reviews of Ultimate 3
@Custom1991
It's necrodancer meets Zelda. Google the trailer and you'll thank me
Hmmm.. Broken Sword 5 has been out on Switch for ages in both digital and physical... I guess there was a delay on the release for US and other markets?
Preloaded Saint's Row. Looking forward to that!!!
Beyond that I'll mostly be focusing on my backlog until Marvel and Fire Emblem in July
@CrazyZelda79 It's annoying because I see it looks fine while I'm typing it, then my phone is like "nope" and changes everything :/
It's publisher has me a bit worried, but I'm really interesting in that TT Isle of Man racing game. I love racing games, but normal racing games (not karting, combat and carnage, etc) are becoming an endangered species. And thanks to some brain damage from the early 90's, I'm actually looking forward to the new Bubsy.
Guacamele got pushed back a month, so just Hollow Knight for me in May.
What about Sniper elite V2??
