Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna - The Golden Country is now fully available to all players, and Nintendo has released a brand new launch trailer to celebrate.
This Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC addition, which is actually a standalone prequel that has received its own release, has no doubt been sitting at the top of every Xenoblade fan's wishlist since it was first announced. In this new story, players can uncover the full history of Jin and the fall of Torna that took place 500 years before the events of the main game, taking control of both Driver and Blades as you explore a new Titan, the Kingdom of Torna.
Torna's release has caused a bit of confusion among potential buyers thanks to the nature of its launch. The game is technically a DLC expansion for the main game (and has been available to those who purchased the expansion pass for a whole week now), but it's also being released today as a physical edition. You can get more info about the whole situation - and snag yourself your own physical copy - right here.

My physical copy with the expansion pass code inside just arrived today, looking forward to getting started later!
I’ve just bought this but I haven’t played the main game. If I enjoy this Shorter game I’ll buy XC2
This game is Fantastic. I have been playing it since it came out with the expansion pass and it is amazing. Best dlc I have seen in a very long time.
Still working on finishing the main game before playing this. I started a New Game+ to refresh my memory on the story and get all the Expansion Pass goodies. In the middle of Chapter 8 now. Just from the DLC trailers I've seen, the flashbacks with Lora and Jin are making so much more sense than the first time I played through it.
The game is a very good game. Plus I like the music just a tad bit than the main game. The combat didn't really connect with me but I made do. Doing a second run but with JP VO. Glad I got to play a week early because I was not at work.
Okay, someone sell me on this game. I have Xenoblade Chronicles X but haven't had time to play yet. I love most first-party Nintendo games and love RPGs. Still looking for a copy of the original on Wii. Thinking about buying 2 and the expansion physically. Sell me!
I double dipped with physical and expansion pass.
This DLC is really top notch. I was a little hesitant at first since I played the base game to death and was worried it would just be more of the same, but it almost feels like an entirely new game. I understand why they made a separate physical release for it. New locations to explore, the combat has changed (which in my opinion is even better), and the side quests feel like they have more meaning.
Working on 100% completing it now with just 2 more people to add to my community.
