Battle Tower Blitz - First Gem

In the pipe behind the flaming koopas, there's a secret area containing the first gem.

Battle Tower Blitz - Second Gem

After beating the wizard koopas and shoot to the platform covered in toads, climb down the ladder just next to the pipe to find a secret area containing the second gem.

Battle Tower Blitz - Third Gem

During the final section with the cannon, shoot the blocks in the right hand corner to release the third gem. Shoot it again to collect it.

Battle Tower Blitz - Extra Challenge: Collect 170 Coins

This is actually quite difficult, as it involves beating the entire level without dying. There is a checkpoint just before the cannon fight, and it will wipe all coins collected up to that point if you die. That forces you to leave the level and start again.

Battle Tower Blitz - Pixel Toad

Reach the end of the level and destroy all of the blocks with the cannon. He's hiding on the top left platform, underneath where the blocks used to be.
