When it comes to games about planes and flight simulation, Nintendo Switch is fast becoming the most populous airspace in video games, and the platform is getting another aerial adventure in the form of the upcoming Air Mail.
Placing you in the shoes of Scoop, the youngest pilot to join the Domeekan Island Fliers, your postal delivery duties get thrown to the wind like flimsy letters when the Kingdom of Domeeka erupts into conflict. With 25 missions to complete and all manner of locations to explore in your plane, this award-winning little odyssey looks right up Switch's alley. Check out some footage of it in action below.
Let us know what you make of Air Mail in the comments below...

Waaaait a minute... didn't I play this on my iPad for 1/3 the cost, six years ago?
Wii resort? Sure looks like the same engine or they used they same approach to the physics
I was particularly fond of the Diddy Kong Racing flying sections so this initially appeals. It does look a somewhat shallow exoeri nice though..
That's some janky-butt art direction I tell you what. It goes in all directions here, like several other early mobile success stories.
And not only is the good doc @DrJiggle correct, but this game is published by Chillingo, a mobile publisher wholly owned by Electronic Arts.
Of all the people in this world, EA could afford a visual spit-shine for their (in all fairness) very well reviewed mobile offering, when bringing it out at a higher price on a new system two generations later.
mobile port? thats no for me dawg
ugh...
They never updated this game to work with the newer IOS's, I didn't care about it after buying it then so I won't be double dipping
EDIT: They even didn't bother to update the audio for the correct button inputs (press the X button instead of simply saying "tap the camera button)
Hmm, weird it looked better when I viewed it in the shop, now i'm just gonna take it off my wish list.
This looks very simple. We already have better flight games on the Switch by the way it seems.
Looks terrible, and the audio is shockingly bad. Gameplay seems highly repetitive. And to top it all off, it’s available for cheap on your phone. It’s a NO from me
Looks pretty fun. I would love to play it.
Reminds me of Wing Island on Wii.
It's actually N-Fusion Interactive who developed the game, Chillingo just published it on mobile and N-Fusion are going solo for their Switch release.
The game was £2.99 for the base game with a few missions and with IAP for more missions and paint schemes to unlock, so for £15 or so we're getting the complete game for less than the IAP cost.
Draw distance was the main issue I had in the iOS game and it seems to be slightly improved here, though the mini map is still a little too mini for my liking.
We need Freaky Fliers (PS2) & the Snoopy Flying game from PSP...
