FTE Games has unveiled the next game coming through its Johnny Turbo's Arcade revival line - the multiplayer action-RPG, Wizard Fire. The sequel to 1990's Gate of Doom - which also received the Switch revival treatment earlier this year - Wizard Fire follows the same formula as its predecessor with all manner of beasts and monsters to slay. And if you pre-order it, you'll get 12% off. Twelve per cent! A very specific saving right there.

So that's another slice of retro goodness from Johnny Turbo's Arcade. Did you play Wizard Fire back in 1992? Is this the first time you've come across it? Let us know what you make of its imminent Switch arrival either way...

Give me some golden age releases like Bump 'n' Jump, please.
Already pre-ordered, I'm loving these Data East releases !! Keep em coming Johnny !
Hopefully they fixed the blur filtering and added button options. It’s absolutely insane to me how lacking their emulator is while charging what they do. Who wants to jump with the B button? No one! Who wants some filter messing with the beautiful pixel art? No one!
night slashers or bust suckas
Night Slashers when?
Go Johnny Turbo!
Yes already got it pre-ordered and ready to play when the time comes. Johnny, you and HAMSTER both rule.
This game is great.
@Neopolss
Watched a YouTube video and that was the impression I got. It looks terribly repetitive. Fair graphics though.
It's great how many old classics are releasing, but I don't understand why the EU eshop is not getting most of them :
If you're going to remaster a game like this, it would be nice if you could rework it into a true 3D world rather than going back to the isometric look, which is an outdated and archaic design for anything outside of the beat 'em up genre.
As much as i want many of the Johnny Turbo games, i can't in good conscience buy then when they are so lacking in features compared to the Hamster releases.
Xenu bless RetroArch.
@the_shpydar are they just ROMs on an emulator with unlimited credits? I can't stand it when they do that for games like this. It's just a walking simulator. If they put some time in and balanced a life system, I'm down.
