Attention, please! We've just got word from indie devs Henchman & Goon, who have revealed that their co-op exploration game Pode will land on the Switch eShop on the 21st June. In fact, you can even pre-order right now if you like.
In Pode, a rock and a fallen star - quite an unlikely duo - set out on a mystical journey, using their distinct abilities to solve ancient puzzles, heavily emphasising the themes of friendship and cooperation. Aww.
Here's what Yngvill Hopen, Game Director and CEO at Henchman & Goon, had to say about this impending release:
Pode has already attracted quite a following, so we want to give our fans the chance to purchase it early. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from the community and great support from Nintendo, so we are anticipating a great launch in a couple of weeks.
Through their unique individual talents, the duo discover a magical world by working together to solve the puzzles. Pode is inspired by Norwegian art and culture, resulting in a stunning exploration game.
Let us know if you plan to pick up Pode for your Switch later this month with a comment below.

And just like that the pain from the fact that Unravel Two will not be arriving on Switch anytime soon is diminished.
The platform is perfect for this kind of game, as evident by Snipperclips being such a hit.
This looks so cute! I might get it.
I'm impressed an indie made a game that isn't 2D or retro.
Trailer puzzling reminds me a lot of Toki Tori 2 + only in 3D.
I'm interested, but just spent 15 minutes looking for the price and I can't find it anywhere, not on their site, not on this site, not on the Ntinedo site. I give up. Going to file it under - if I have to search, I can't afford it.
Super cute. Definitely on my list
looks pretty nice but some of those platforming scenarios look like they will be super frustrating with the camera angles shown. For example the one at 1:15
@rjejr Saw someone comment over at GoNintendo that it will be FORTY dollars. Ouch!
@justin233 Thanks. Did you happen to notice if that was US $? Seems like most world currencies these days are higher than US for purchase prices. Canada and Australia are really high.
Well either way a bit much for me. Websites and companies really need to get out in front of the price thing. Was a time all retail games were $60, digital $5 or $10, but prices can be anywhere from 99c to $99 w/ deluxe editions these days. Price should be right out in front so we can focus on the game rather then playing "let's guess the price".
@rjejr They didnt make that clear in the comment. I’m assuming it is the US price, but I’m not sure.
@justin233 Thanks anyway. I wouldn't even have asked except this is a UK site w/ a fairly global cast of characters.
I really liked Snipper clips and Death squared on the switch. Its a easy shared system so will take a look at this.
Hey guys! The price is going to be US$ 24.99 . I think maybe the $40 is New Zealand Dollars.
Really hope that you will love the game as much as I do!
