Nothing for me - saving up for Octo Expansion
Guessing this is a mash up of both the US My Nintendo and EU My Nintendo as i'm sure those guides have been there for a while on the EU version.
Still the whole program is pointless
Got excited about guides - but not pdf!!!
I thought mini physical guides would be a nice reward.
10 gold coins for a pdf that should be free?!?!?

My Nintendo rewards system is still in full swing
How about some Switch rewards?

The guides have been there for ages. I got the BotW one a year ago.
@Stocksy Why should digital content be free? 10 gold points is only £2 eshop spend.
The Zelda theme is pretty nifty. 3DS themes have been my main takeaway from My Nintendo lol
Ummm... Can you guys PLEASE at least specify the region when you post these articles? I’m guessing this is for our European friends but who’s to say when the author types out a bunch of filler text but leaves out the most important detail. Sheesh. 🤦♂️
@chardir digital content shouldn’t be free... but I’m old enough to remember when you got a “mini guide” or instruction book with every game - companies hid behind green agendas and said manuals were harming the planet and stopped making them - saving them a fortune. A small digital mini guide would be a nice reward/replacement...
This is why I believe 10 gold coins is a liberty.... silver would be fine.
Let’s be fair this reward programme is a farce really
@Stocksy A PDF should be free? I don't follow this argumentation..
However, I will waste my gold points in the theme. Otherwise, they would expire as always.
This reward system is really poopy...
20% or 30% off something I wasn’t even considering is not gonna persuade me to make a purchase.
Nintendo are killing it with the Switch but they need to step up their rewards game if they are going to charge an annual subscription like Sony or Microsoft.
i'm just going to save all my gold coins towards discounts now.
You should get more points for physical games. Not less. I miss the old reward scheme where you could save for real in hand stuff. I remember getting my 3DS dock from it. Really hate paying for air.
Not brilliant as usual but i will probably get the discount for Kirby's Blowout Blast, been wanting that for a while, it's still better than nothing i guess, Sony offer nothing back from your PS purchases and MS's reward scheme is convoluted and a bit of a faff so i'm still glad we at least get something, even if it is just the odd discount here and there.
Never understood the complaining about My Nintendo. Platinum points are free. Gold points are bonus points you get when you purchase something that can be spent to reduce the price of future purchases. Is it better than free money? No. Is it better than having access to certain games when you pay a high subsciption fee? Yes.
I can see why they would charge Gold for big guides, but starter guides? Nope.
Should have been for the useless platinum points.
Unless it's Super Mario Galaxy on the Switch I'm not interested, already had two disc copies of the Wii Version.
If only they had Switch rewards...
I find it funny that the reward involving a Switch game is for the 3ds.

I saw the Mario Galaxy thumbnail and got crazy excited for a Mario Galaxy Switch release. :/
I'm in the wrong timeline where Virtual Console was never released on the Switch. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
