The Switch eShop is starting to flesh out its library not just in terms of the volume of games available, but also the range of genres. For puzzle fans that want a nice accessible challenge there's another option on the way with Piczle Lines DX.
It blends ideas seen in Picross with the ability to fill blocks in various shapes, also offering a whole lot of content and control options as part of the package. Due to launch on 24th August, you can see a trailer, official information and some screenshots below.
Draw lines between two numbers to reveal a hidden picture and complete the puzzle! Hundreds of puzzles with free updates!

Do you like the look of this one for Nintendo Switch?

Never enough puzzles. To be honest, it looks pretty interesting, plus, touchscreen support!
Edit: Been playing the Android version of this game, it's surprisingly addicting.
Good game on iOS (which i own). It`s free there, wonder, how much will it cost for Switch.
A nice addition for sure, doubt I'll pick it up, but I like the style of it.
This looks like a pretty sweet puzzle game, particularly in that it looks polished. I'll probably pick it up, depends on the price.
Still pushing that play with multiple people everywhere strategy huh Nintendo. Allow games like this make me wonder why I got a console like this...just 2 more months until Mario.
I want Stardew Valley.
Waaaaay back in the VERY early iOS days, I was obsessed with the PathPix games by Kris Pixton/KpixGames (which I'm going to assume the Piczle series took the concept/mechanics from), and this trailer certainly gave me a huge dose of puzzle'ing nostalgia. Anyone into the Picross games I think would really enjoy this style of puzzle, they're very fun and can get incredibly tough in the bigger stages.
This is for sure going on my wishlist, and for now I'm going to be re-downloading some PathPix on my phone...
I really like that the Switch is getting a lot for smaller developers bringing over snippet titles like this, but man....I'm starting to get worried, as I haven't really seen but a few larger scale projects ship in the past couple of months, other than first party software. I know September will see a bit of a boon for sure, but August seems largely dry of support past these smaller games. Hopefully next August, I won't be feeling the same way. I'm just not feeling satiated on bites...
This ticks off a lot of boxes for me. Hopefully it is around £8 and I'll be all over this like a rash.
this is phenomenal, wonderful, fantastic
Good game although I have it for free on iOS. Wonder how much they'll charge for this on switch
Looks like it is free on iOS with microtransactions for more stages. Nice to see the Switch one have free stage packs instead.
Looks good, but like everyone else all depends on the price, if it is free on iOS, might just get it for my iPod
@Lumine Way to limit yourself unnecessarily! Wouldn't want to enjoy gaming if it has the wrong label on it! /s Seriously, why do people do this? SMH.
