The Western launch of retro-styled action RPG Kamiko is only two days away now. Priced at only £4.49 in the UK and $4.99 in North America, this looks like a winner for fans of Fairune and Fairune 2 on the 3DS Shop.
To celebrate the lovely folks at Flyhigh Works have put together a promotional trailer which they have exclusively shared with us. What's different this time? Well, it's in English for starters, which is a big help to this humble scribe.
We have now learnt that Kamiko is a game styled around Japanese Shinto beliefs and that you will fight as priestesses aptly named "Kamiko". In this retro-style RPG you will battle against demons while solving puzzles to make your way through the various stages.
Will you be downloading the reasonably priced Kamiko on Thursday this week? Let us know your thoughts on the trailer with a comment below.

It looks alright and it's cheap, now is it any good? Going by Metacritic, the answer is yes.

I'll be picking it up. I need to expand my library
Yep, looks pretty good and the price makes it a comfortable extra expense candidate. I haven't played Fairune yet, but this one looks like Titan Souls (itself a nice game) evolved well beyond its boss rush nature. Count me in!
I might actually pick this up after watching that trailer. Looks much better than Fairune, IMO.
Very interesting!
Looks pretty decent. I wish it told us the uk price £4.99 would be nice
I enjoyed Fairune, but I'm already getting a backlog of games on Switch. However, this being "Super short" keeps it on my purchase list for when I've finished BotW.
@garydbz25 it's £4.49
Sold! I love the music and it reminds me of Pocky and Rocky (snes)
Looks cool, but I dont' have my Switch yet
Sold!
Trailer looked better then I expected! I'll give this one a go.
@nhSnork I was thinking the exact same thing! Titan Souls was great, but had so much untapped potential. Kamiko however, looks far more, erm.. 'playable'.
A fiver ? Good price point. After wonderboy I'll grab this.
@AcridSkull @garybdz25 Cheap at half the price, right? At £4.49, this looks too good to pass by.
looks neeto, may pick it up
Looks worth $4.99
Definitely grabbing this. I finished Wonder Boy and Specter of Torment during the weekend, so I'm looking for good reasons to turn on my Switch this week, since I'm not getting Mario Kart (my Wii U version still works fine).
Think I'll pick this up. Surprised no one's commented on all the playable characters being female. Personally I think that's pretty cool in itself.
I'll have it. The music is nice and it's a beautiful little game for what it is.
I was almost bummed when I thought this was for 3DS and then I said, WHY ISNT THIS ON SWITCH!? and I looked again and was like DOH. it is.
Looks like Hyper Light Drifter?
For 5 bucks i might try picking this up, but I just got Nier: Automata this week and started playing it so it might be awhile, also MK8 Deluxe comes friday lol.
Very cute.
Love this art style and game looks great, the art style reminds me of Hyper Light Drifter which never came to Nintendo's systems .
I own the Japanese version and its awesome.
basic in a great way awesome music, beautiful colored sprites, it would be a mistake to miss this game at only $5.
I coudnt put it down after I downloaded it.
Love the bright colours and for that price how can I resist?
That there looks like a good bargain I tell you what.
nice price !! actually all pixel indie's should be aroundd 5$ no more ... yet they charge us 10-15 and sometimes 20$ ...
I am addicted to the first 9 second of that tune! There is something so familiar about it.
I want this so bad
Guess I'll pick this up along side MK8D on Friday.
Heck yes! Take my 5 dollars. Loved the Fairune series. It looks right up my alley
Looks really cool, im definitely getting this day one.
I wish they put this on the 3DS eShop as well, but once I'm able to actually find a Switch here in the US, I'll definitely buy it!
Is it just me or has this game not released on the Australian eshop yet?
