Bravely Second: End Layer, the sequel to the wildly acclaimed Bravely Default is due out in Europe in just a few short days; North America will have to wait until April, but if our review is anything to go by it'll be definitely worth the wait.
Until all is revealed, why not take a look at what you can discover in the Deluxe Collector's Edition of the game? We've got it all sorted in the video below along with close-up shots of all the goodies as well as arguably entertaining commentary on the proceedings.

It says the video is set to private. Am I not good enough for this contents
Private video. Please unblock it!
Alright I like fire emblem and xenoblade can someone tell me if I'd like the Bravely series?
........not quite as happy as you, it seems that we have a pay for our copy
........Anna. Not as 'they' say, Arn'na.
Elsa's sister..... Keep up.
"When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled."
Thank you. That will be in my head all day.
That collectors edition looks great, and much bigger than I was expecting. I also thought Agnes was pronounced Agnes instead of Agnes.
I still don't regret cancelling my order. I haven't got round to playing the first Bravely Default yet, and most of the collectable stuff would just have ended up sitting on a shelf in my cupboard.
Hopefully this comes to the US.
And yet, brave Sir Robin... ran away!
Sadly the U.S. version doesn't have the figurine so that sucks.
If only I would like the game...
@Alex_Olney For some odd reason, your embedded YouTube videos keep playing out of sync for me: sound is okay, but video is slow as f***.
When I click on the YouTube button to play it directly on YouTube, I don't have that problem at all. Yours is the only site I experience this problem with, so it's not a problem with YouTube or embedded videos as a whole, since I can watch these on other sites just fine...
@TheRealThanos Is this a recent development or was it also happening on the old site?
@AlexOlney not as far as I can remember, and I watched quite a few videos on your site. Obviously it isn't all that big of a deal to click the "watch this video on YouTube" button, but ideally I'd like to stay on the article page.
And thanks for the speedy reply. Enjoy your vids too, so keep em coming.
@AlexOlney To be totally clear: not as far as I can remember as in "they used to play just fine".
@TheRealThanos Mine is doing the exact same thing but I am watching it on my phone and don't know if that would have something to do with it. Kind of an odd problem really.
@Dpishere Well, glad to see that at least I'm not the only one, which must mean that I'm not going crazy (yet)...
@Dpishere Nope, scratch that: I AM going crazy. Because of you mentioning it, I also tried this page on my phone and it works just fine on there. Really strange because when I'm home, my phone is set to use wifi, which should normally be slightly slower than my cable connection to which my PC is connected.
And it still doesn't account for me not having problems with embedded videos on other sites. Sh** just keeps getting weirder and weirder...
@DoctorOverbuild Almost certainly that you'll like it.
That said, they are not similar games (gameplay wise), but are all awesome jrpg!
Ugh not having the figure really does make the US collectors so much different. I would've pre order'd it without hesitation if it came with the figure
@TheRealThanos Yeah as far as I can tell their videos seem to have a mind of their own since it doesn't happen with all of them and instead is pretty rare all things considered. Either way I won't make too big a deal out of it since it isn't a regular issue.
WANT! Hope the US edition is as nice.
@DoctorOverbuild
Yes, you would. Without getting into spoilers, the storyline gets a bit... repetitive. But other than that, the game is fantastic. If you have ever played a Final fantasy game, and enjoyed it, you will be in for a treat.
I'd have to say that the biggest highlights of the game are:
A) The battle system. (just look up a video, its really a blast)
B) The Music (incredibly good OST, very catchy tunes)
C) the Artwork (absolutely breathtaking water-color inspired backgrounds and scenery. this game is really, very very beautiful)
9/10
The art book was a selling point for me. 255 pages of some of the best game art on the planet?? yes please!!
And I'm actually happy that it is paperback, as I intend to attempt to copy/study some of the artwork inside, and paper backs stay open on your bed?desk while Hardbacks do not. Makes things easier.
I wish the Agnes figure was in the US edition though sigh sad panda...
Really want this. ;-;
@TheRealThanos Just to be clear, is it choppy playback (i.e. frame slipping but consistent) or is it a buffering issue? If it's buffering it's out of our hands!
Already bought it! ... For a friend xD
Wow this special edition looks amazing and i am so glad that i was able to be one of the lucky few to get this special edition pre-ordered.
I really wanted this edition but I couldn't justify the price at the time. I'll be happy enough with a physical copy of the game
@AlexOlney couldn't be buffering issue imho, since I don't have this issue on YouTube itself or on other sites with embedded videos. What I see, for example in this video, is you talking and waving your hands in semi-slow motion, say a generous second after the sound comes, which works just fine, so the video is constantly falling behind the sound.
What do people do with these art books? Look at them once and then never again? That's what I do at least.
@J-Manix98
a) I guess, if you like the brave/default mechanic. It's interesting, but I find it more annoying than anything.
b) yeah, the music is really nice, a lot better than what I've heard from the first game
c) are you serious? the scenes COULD be beautiful if there were displayed at a higher resolution, but the way they are displayed on the 3DS they are super blurry. The first game had the same problem, though.
@Refurin @abbyhitter america is getting the CE but no figure
I kinda regret not pre-ordering this. I have no intention of playing Bravely Second at this point, but I'd buy that Art-book any day at any price. And I'm sure I'd enjoy the game too, but that art-book though!! Hnnnnnnnggh >_<
@xshinox
Yeah I know, but the pictures didn't do justice to the size of the art book. I'm hoping it's not scaled down. Also the BestBuy listing did have the Agnes figure included so part of me is (naively) hoping that we're getting a surprise in April.
@Refurin that was probably a error on their part.
I'm sure it was. But I can dream
I agree: That's a massive book! Especially for a handheld-game.
