Thats been on my wiiU christmas list since the wiiU's release.

Really disappointed at Twilight Princess HD going for a Skyward Sword artstyle. Just because the textures and models were bad doesn't mean you need to change the color scheme.

@spacejump full Metroid game with story mode and an additional fps multi-player mode. Splatoons been a big hit and having the element of morph ball would make it really interesting, why not?!

Thats funny, I've been pronouncing it "meat-ah-moe" mostly b/c I don't like the name, but I thought "Meet-a-Mii" could work in the west. Kind of sounds like what our Miis are doing in the app, meeting other Miis. I'd prefer "Mii Friends" but it may get lost among all the "---- with Friends" games. They better at least add a space, "Mii Tomo", b/c "Miitomo" or "MiiTomo" ain't cutting it. At least they got 6 months to figure it out.

Maybe NL can do a name poll? Suggestion box? Nintendo really seems to need all the help it can get these days.

I think we're all rushing a little bit when we say Twilight Princess HD is already a thing.

Still reading "unannouced" as a verb in NL healines stating the likes of, "Nintendo has unannounced games coming before Christmas." Had my head stuck in too many books for too long. Anyhow, the Project Treasure game with the Lost Reavers? What happened to Project Robot? More StreetPass games? Probably Twightlight Princess HD. I didn't like the wiimote as a controller so never finished it. Maybe I should go back and try again, though I have the GameCube version too now - found it in a box of tech stuff my sister left before she moved to the States (Luigi's Mansion, all the Zelda games including the special editions, Fire Emblem:Path of Radiance, Super Mario Sunshine, the Paper Marios,the Super Mario Galaxy games and about 30 others, along with the wii console to play it all on.) Extremely fortuitous find!

@Sakura Fantastic find, especially Path of Radiance and Paper Mario TTYD. Those games are expensive!

I've been considering getting the GC version of Twilight Princess for a while now but the price has pushed me back. Think it's probably best to wait until more info is revealed on the HD remake given it's all but confirmed. If it's traditional Gamepad/Pro Controller controls then I'm in for the remake but if it's motion controls focused like the Wii version then I'll get the GC version.

@Grumblevolcano I would imagine TP HD would feature a "new" control scheme like Wind Waker i.e. touch screen.

its possible it would have the wii control scheme as an option not the main. after all this isn't rerelease (VC) of a particular version, its an remake

I'm missing the moment where a recognizability optimized portrayal of Link for company proile purposes is "evidence" of an HD version of Twilight Princess.

@abe_hikura @B64111980 What I was referring to was if the HD remake was based on the GC version then it would be the same controls as Wind Waker HD but the complication here is that the Wii version exists so partially concerned that maybe they'll base it on the Wii version having the terrible mirroring and motion controls. The fact Mario Tennis Ultra Smash only supports traditional controls has me optimistic.

There is absolutely no "evidence" whatsoever that points to twilight princess hd. Everything that has been shown so far points more toward a virtual rerelease of twilight princess ala prime trilogy wii u or galaxy 2 wii u.

Where anyone got the idea of an hd remake is beyond me.

@Grumblevolcano I'm also waiting for more info on the TP possible HD remake. All games are working though so I have plenty to keep me busy. Brilliant! Thought the DVD player I was looking for doesn't have HDMI so I'll need a new one. Still, more than happy with what I did find working. So jammy!

@Grumblevolcano I wasn't very clear, i'm sorry. my point was meant to be that this HD remake wouldn't be either the GC or Wii version it would be its own version made from the original development assets. They wouldn't release a Wiimote only version of Twlight Princess HD simply because the Wii U doesn't come with one in the box.

I still don't know whether to believe a rumour though. Last time stuff like this was leaked we thought we were all getting F-Zero and Paper Mario for Wii U... Look how last E3 turned out.

I'll believe it when I see it.

If TP HD is a thing, I hope they make it look even more realistic with a dark tone instead of getting cartoony with it. Wind Waker is great, but let's see how realistic we can make it look for once.

@abe_hikura My biggest problem w/ Wii Thrii isn't how horrible it actually is, Nintendo named the original "Wii" after all, but it looks too much like Wii TVii, and we all know how that turned out. Or didn't.

Whatever the name is, has to be better than Wii U. Which I happen to like, but I'm weird.

I would probably prefer a HD remaster of mario galaxy before twilight princess. But realistically they've had some HD footage of twilight princess from since the wii u launch. It's not that surprising.

I know the news itself is very vague and this is my first time hearing this(Twilight Princess HD) but after conducting some research this rumor first leaked back in April. So my question to some more knowledge fans out there. Is it clarified IF Twliight Princess is remade or remastered if it'll be coming to only the wii u or 3ds, or both!? Unfortunately I only have my 3ds now and Twilight Princess is bar none my favorite of the series. Don't judge me lol.

@spacejump How or where did you readers this?? I've seen nothing regarding that art change. Which im meh over. Prefer the original art style of Twilight Princess. Gave it that atmospheric vibe with a level of daunting wonder lol.
