Last week we had the pleasure of attending Nintendo UK's post-E3 showing in trendy Shoreditch in London. We've already been sharing our thoughts on the games on show there to supplement the fine work which Morgan and Alan did on the LA E3 show floor for us.
One of the most striking things as we approached the venue showing Nintendo's upcoming games was the massive mural on the wall in honour of Mario's 30th anniversary, and indeed Super Mario Maker. Several members of the NL team were quick to Instragram this masterpiece, along with the half of the denizens of Shoreditch judging by the #supermariomaker hashtag!
If you were curious how this was created, take a look at the video by Nintendo UK below. Street artists painstakingly sprayed each square with a stencil, building up a retro 8-bit Mario over what we can only assume was many hours of hard graft. We have to say we just loved the end result. Has this inspired you to adorn one of the exterior walls of your home in a similar fashion?

I demand this to be outside my house!!
Nice, I like graffiti
"Shoreditch" sounds like where they'd unceremoniously dump syphilis-addled corpses back in the 1800s. Trendy then and now, I guess.
Lookin' nifty though, wonder how long it'll take before some 'hilarious' chavs decide to ruin it with unimaginary words and anatomically unsound renditions of parts of the human anatomy.
Do that in the U.S.
Banksy has a new rival.

That is TOO AWESOME!!!
That's awesome. Too much work for me though. I painted one of the walls in my kitchen blue and stuck up some Blik Super Mario Bros decals. Way easier.
