Hello again, Mr Johnson

Nintendo will be holding a midnight launch at New York's Nintendo World Store to mark the release of Wii U; from 6pm on Saturday 17th November you can head down to the store and join in the hype.

You can take a wild guess who will be there — none other than the man himself, Reggie Fils-Aime — to welcome fans and continue the tradition of selling the console to the first person in the queue. Will Isaiah Triforce Johnson be the first to get it once again?

Nintendo will also be selling New York-themed T-shirts with its mascot, Mario, at the event. All proceeds from sales of the shirts will be donated to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts from the effects of Hurricane Sandy.
