Metroid Dread Wide Beam

Your very first trip to Dairon takes place early in Metroid Dread, but it's an important one as it gives you access to the Wide Beam, a powerful laser upgrade that allows you to open special Wide Beam doors as well as push various Wide Beam objects around to allow access to lots of new areas.

Metroid Dread - Where is the Wide Beam?

In order to nab the Wide Beam you'll first need to turn the power on in this currently darkened area, an easy task that requires nothing more than heading left and down into the small area of this map you can currently access.

Once you've headed right over to the left as far as you can you'll be able to shoot out some blocks on the floor to nip down into the area containing the generator.

Once you've done that, head for the statue room we've marked on the map below in order to claim your nifty prize.
