Review Fun! Fun! Minigolf (WiiWare)
So much fun they named it twice, but it is really up to par?
Wii Sports golf - which, lest we forget, comes bundled for free with the Wii console - offers a taste of what playing golf with a Wii Remote can be like. However, with only nine holes and a clunky putting mechanism that can often feel inaccurate, the game is just not satisfying enough to...

So as you might imagine the news that Shin'en are to produce titles for Nintendo's WiiWare...

Shin’en is a good developer (definitely digging Nanostray 2). If they can make this game as much fun as the mini-golf game in Mario Golf for the N64, then I’m in.
Hopefully this game will be decent and have more improved controls of Wii Sports Golf.
Well, it has fun in the title twice, so it should in theory be entertaining =P
Gahhh, not minigolf! G-D that game brings me nothing but frustration. I prefer regular golf. I suppose if it just uses that powerbar thing, it'll be alright.
Mini-Golf is awesome. Can't wait to see some screens.
fun fun mini golf?!? what fun is palying mini golf on your t.v
I really hope that this comes out next week. I can't wait to play it with my competitive relatives =P 27 holes are more than I expected.
@Olimar_91: I like your logic.
The interview WWW did a while back sounded pretty promising. Tonight perhaps? What with all the age ratings done.
Hoping for this sometime very soon, been looking forward to it for a while. Possibly my most anticipated WiiWare game at the moment.
I want this game NOW. Roar.
ADDED: Hey, look what I found!
Looks really fun. Can't wait to play it.
It certainly does look very nice. I really hope it plays as good as it looks.
nice looking game, characters are ugly though
apparently its not as good as it looks.

I've been looking forward to this game, and when it was released this afternoon, I downloaded it.
If you're looking for a fun game, avoid this at all costs. I've never played a minigolf game where you HAVE to hit the ball into the area around the hole, or else it's classified as out of bounds, even when it's still on the course, forcing you to start over. I've always played the ball where it lies, so this is just ridiculous. The courses are pretty bland and basic, with only a few holes containing anything even remotely relevant to what you would imagine a minigolf course might have.
Overall, not worth the 900 Wii Points.
I found Fun! Fun! Mini Golf to be excellent. It is easily the best mini golf game on the Wii and well worth the 900 points. The out of bounds is a little weird but in no way a deal breaker. In mini golf, you are usually trying to get a hole in one everytime. So, this game just has a chalked off area near the hole that your ball needs to land in, or else it is out of bounds. It may sound odd but it works well.
This game looks great and plays equally well. The courses are nice and the multiplayer is fun. If you like mini golf, you will more than likely enjoy this game.
I wouldn't say it's excellent, but it's still a damn good game and worth the points. Here's one review that I ... ahem ... "stumbled across".
4.5/5 Broken Wii-motes on the frustration meter
Don't waste your Wii Points. The addition of the "Out of Bounds" area has made this a overly annoying and frustrating game. While game play is ok, anyone who has ever played any mini-golf / putt-putt knows, you play the ball where it lies, not just when you get it close to the hole or "play area"
Cost: 900 Worth: 350
900 Points? Should be 400.
I don't like the idea of having a forced do-over if I don't get the ball near the hole. I'll wait til there's an actual Wii game featuring minigolf.
