@luke17, maybe an idea (if possible for you) to do your list on Sunday before the new releases (like Europe do on Thursday). Just to give Monday's releases a full week to have impact on the list.

That's a good idea. I've pretty much been updating at random times at least a week apart. I think Sunday would probably be a good day considering the release schedule.

Five new games this week. We welcome back Art of Balance (at 12), Tetris Party (at 16), (Netherlands own) Swords & Soldiers (at 18), "Aha! I Found It!" Hidden Object Game (at 19) and Mega Man 10 (at 20).

This means goodbye to:

The biggest climber is Bomberman Blast with ten spots from 18 to 8. It's funny return out of nowhere and reach very high places. The biggest dropper is Bit. Trip Runner with five spots from 10 to 15.

There is only one demo left, Bit. Trip Beat haven't made the list with his second demo, and this week is no different.

Not much movement this week, but MDK 2 continues to look good, and Dragon Master Spell Caster jumps into the top 20 out of the blue. I'm REALLY hoping "FAST" will do well enough to pass up Family Go-Kart Racing in the next few weeks, but I hold little confidence in the ability of US consumers to buy a high quality game over a crappy one.

Another poor game makes it onto the chart...

But that doesn't make it our biggest climber. That's My Pokémon Ranch with ten spots from 20 to 10. The biggest dropper is FAST - Racing League with nine spots from 4 to 13.

There is one demo back. NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, but it didn't make any impact on the list.

Likely because this demo isn't listed within the new releases.
You have to search for demos or search by name to find it.
It's odd because other re-releases (Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and BIT.TRIP BEAT Demo) were in the news section.

Was Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels re-released? Why was that?

When the VC version of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels was originally released on 14.09.2007 it was available for only 2 weeks (until 30.09.2007). Just like the demos now, Nintendo took it away from the shop. It was re-released on 22.08.2008, and this time handled like a regular game.

I think it was just a test, with all that old talking about this game being to hard for western gamers.
