Hey, everyone. I recently remembered a game I played on my wii ages ago, I sadly dont have it anymore so I cant check it for the title. I’ve looked through lists of wii games and haven’t found anything that I think is it.

What all I remember:

  • Camera is 3rd person
  • Small, square game world, earth/hilly surface
  • Control creatures of some point
  • Collect gas bubbles from lakes (?)
  • Mechanical structures exist in the game world
  • Complete an objective and then leave in a flying ship of some sort

I purchased the game through the eShop. It’s not Pikmin, despite that being a pretty similar concept.

I wish I could give more details but I honestly can’t remember much. Thanks for any help.

Pretty sure you're thinking about Pikmin.

Might want to change the title of your thread to old Wii game or just Wii game. You said old and I was thinking like NES or SNES. The Wii is not that old.

Any other details you might remember? What genre it might have been? The spaceship part does sound like a dead ringer for pikmin.

Did you use the wii remote by itself or with a nunchuk?

@WoomyNNYes I thought, since I worked at a gamestop during the wii's lifecycle, that i'd seen it all.

I've never seen anything like that. Ever.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not wrong), but Pikmin was not available from the Wii shop channel.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

Same here, and there were some ridiculous things corporate sent us. This game looks horrifying.

Only the tale of Onechanbara can cleanse my mind of those creepy sentient hot dogs.

@HobbitGamer it's like David Lynch's Pikmin
