Topic: Family Tennis - First Impressions?

Just wondering if anyone's taken the plunge and downloaded Family Tennis, and if so, what do you think? Being an avid tennis player, I'm quite interested in it, though with the Family series' track record I'm not all that optimistic about it being any good.

Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that Chicken is reviewing it.

Just saw the vid on the Nintendo Channel. I must say, in comparison to the past Family games it looks pretty sweet. Dang, I wish I had me some points.

You should get Grand Slam Tennis if you don't already have it, it is a great Tennis game.

Yeah, I own GST. I like it, though I'd like something less motion-crazy. (Though not as laid-back as Wii Tennis)

I download all family games and I got to say this is way better than Table tennis!

Cool! How does it control? Buttons only? Motion-controls? etc. Fatten me up with your insight!

I had that same nightmare, too. Fortunately, I woke up.

I've got a different assignment this week, making two weeks in a row where I actually get to review something good! I'm not sure how or why this happened. I can only assume that Dazza's trying to butter me up so I'll loan him some money.

(sigh) I take some of the blame for bringing the "Family" series into the world by reviewing the first one, Family Table Tennis. Now, I fittingly bring the series to its conclusion by reviewing Family Table Tennis with the table removed.

Wait, this is the last one right?

I'm patiently waiting for Family Food Fight.

Or Family Sexy Poker.

I hope they make many more "Family" titles for Spencer to review.

I know this is not the popular thing to say but I enjoyed Family Table Tennis. At the time it was released I liked it better than Wii Play table tennis, but now its outclassed by Wii Sports Resort. I mention that because I think Family Tennis has potential to be pretty good.

Oh and Spencer I don't think its the last one. I believe there is a Family Card Games or Card night that is not released.

Family Card Games, yes. That should've come before this one, honestly.

Also, any thoughts on this game would be appreciated to those who have it. I'm passing over it for now unless I hear some good words about it.
