Anybody else had a problem with their point card? I got one, and tried to scratch off the silver area with a coin and the area was unreadable underneath. I called Nintendo, and the rep said, "I can see that your card has been purchased but the points have not been activated, but you must mail the card in and then we'll credit you the point." I was obviously not happy about that and couldn't understand why they wouldn't just give the code to the card or credit my wii, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. He had me scan a copy of the card and send it to nintendo of america via email, but I still haven't heard anything back. I've always just purchased points directly in the shop, and only bought this card because of a gift card... but this is the last time I buy one of these cards. I'm pretty unimpressed with Nintendo customer support. I'm holding the card in my hand with 3 sets of different numbers on the bottom that I could give to nintendo and the only important numbers for reedeming the card are not visible... and now must go through Nintendo red tape to get it solved. Boooo.

This had exactly happened to me. GameCrazy used to sell the wii point card cards but now they sell these square shape cards that are made by different materials it feels like and you don't pay tax for them.

I always used a knife on the cards to get the pin number on the small cards but when i used the knife on the square shape cards the pin became unreadable so I sent my card to nintendo by mail.

Took about a week for my points to appear on wiishop channel.

My advice to get the silver stuff off is to lick you finger and smear it off or barly scratch off using a coin.
