It did say there are no game overs in Flux, which I took to mean the game really is completed when it says "Game Over."

RUNNER had a "Game Over," but it was more of just an Easter Egg and a MASSIVE slap in the face...

Ahahaha, thanks for the clip. I'd heard there was some odd easter egg, but never heard details or saw proof. That's wonderful.

Come on, friends,

Hey, why didn't you tell me there was another stage after META? It was beautiful...

I only know this thing: after completing FLUX... I can't stop seeing Commander Videos everywhere.

I myself became Commander Video!!

Does Flux have a boss mode? I started Transition and, instead of how it usually begins, it said "boss" and I had to battle the final boss at the start of the stage. You could tell it was the start of the stage as it had that planet flying around in the distance as usual only it was the boss instead.

iphys

Hmmm, maybe you entered some secret cheat code to get to the boss, or maybe it's some kind of a bug.

Transition? Flux has Epiphany, Perception, and Catharsis... Transition is the first level of Beat.

I just noticed that there's binary code scrolling across the screen during the epilogue.

This is all I could get out of it:

01001001000

Translation: I

Nothing groundbreaking, but I'm sure there's something to this...

Yup there's binary everywhere. Someone found "I AM HOME" in the epilogue I think.

BEAT is the journey of the sperm to fertilize the egg (conception) and birth of a man, pretty much.
CORE is the development of fine motor skills and cognitive stuff and starting off in the world and such of a man.
VOID is the mental development and maturity of a man.
RUNNER is the adulthood of a man, including a pet, a couple friends, and a soulmate. And disillusionment about the working world in Triumph.
FATE is the old age and sad, lonely death of a man.
FLUX is what happens after.

The entire series is open to interpretation, so I can't be wrong, haha. I got some of my stuff from here (check it out, it's great): http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WMG/BitTrip And look under the Twitter messages! I'm referenced! I feel so special. : P

I just read the new stuff on that page and it's awesome! The paddle represents CommanderVideo, or "I."

The binary code comes out to "I am home" when decoded. That's every number from the beginning to the end put through a binary translator backwards.

speaking of which, it's important to note that most of the hidden stuff in the game is presented in reverse order — he came from the planet, and now he's returning to it. :3

I'm a little late to this discussion but could someone fill me in?
What's the deal again with the blank white screen at the end? I never even saw any credits when I finished the game. I thought the screen was just going to stay like that forever so I got tired of waiting and shut it off. Was I supposed to do something to see the actual ending?

Check out my classy comics.

Your right I have no clue. Care to fill me in on what to do? Are you talking about letting go of the controller?

wow, I had no idea these games had so much meaning. I bought Beat before any others came out, and I just played it as a fun pong-like-musicy game, without knowing I was... injecting sperm into an egg to make life O_O

What's great about the series is that you can go through all of the Bit Trips without even thinking about the deeper meaning. The games are fun to play, and they offer a bit extra for those who have the desire to analyze them.

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!
