Well, I did it! I finally beat the game! The last branch of stages felt slightly easier than the one before it. I think all that practice really paid off. I managed to get the Swift and Efficacious achievements on most of them on my first playthrough. I didn't get all of the achievements in the game but my progress still says 100% completion. I was hoping for more of a proper ending after I beat the Final Battle but perhaps something will unlock when you get all of the achievements. The last branch of stages were really lovely. I really liked the Fungtree forest stages. That CPU robot was vicious though. It was a tough game to master but it is totally satisfying once you are finally able get it. I am definitely looking forward to the next game that Onteca puts out. Great job guys!
@pogocoop: Try replaying some of the stages that you just beat and hopefully you will be able to unlock some of the achievements that you did not get the first time. You don't have to unlock every single one to get the next branch of stages to open up. It is tough but after a few times you will get better and faster on each stage. Don't give up!
@stompy: Wow, thank you very much! I appreciate all the great tips you guys have been posting on here. The advice has been really helpful. It was a challenging game and it was definitely a lot of fun. I am still not done playing it yet. I really want to get all of the achievements in the game so that will probably keep me busy for a while. Are you guys really working on another Monsteca game for WiiWare? This series has a lot of potential and I would love to see more of it.
@WolfRamHeart Whoa, fair play! There are not that many games where you can say that you are possibly one of the first gamers to complete it, after the actual devs!
You have set a precedent now and alongside the tips on this forum, as soon as I get a spare moment, I am going to try to climb to those later branches and finish the game. I can see my future, I am destined to thwart that C.P.U. robot! He doesn't scare me!...which is a lie, because I already herd my Stompies in fear and panic, whenever I see an Imposter Bot.
I am passionate about retro gaming, from antiquated consoles to the continuation of classics. Obviously I love PSone, and PS2 retro games. I blast my ears to breakneck melodic punk, gruff vocals and nimble alternative guitar hooks.
@JamieO: Thanks for the compliment! I would definitely recommend steering clear of that CPU robot. It shows you no mercy. Fortunately, it only shows up in the final few stages. Enjoy the rest of the game. I'm sure you'll ace it in no time.
I haven't tried it but entered the comp, hope I win!

Oh glorious day. So nice to find other people that actually checked this game out. Such a surprise at 500 points. One of my favorite games across all Wii software.
