@Klimbatize The price point of a game has nothing to say about the quality.
Very true. But that's not what the thread is asking. It's not asking what's the worst game you ever played. It's asking what's the worse you've ever bought on the eShop. Answering with free games is kind of silly, don't you think?
So, no, my argument is not void. Your point has no relevance to this thread. Mind did.
Has anyone been arguing for free games? People have said a 1 cent game which they did pay for. I don't think anyone has said U-Play app or anything like that.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@Klimbatize Okay, now I'm gonna stretch it, but... does the title say anything about the game costing money? I'd say paying a game enough attention to download it, or more specifically, owning the game should suffice as having "bought" it. Bought for 0 cents, but still acquired. A purchase doesn't always involve money.

Jesus Christ.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

Gaibreaker for £8.99, compared to X type plus at a fraction of the cost it was a poor game. The description doesn't state that the game plays 600% better with touch controls, nor does the manual elaborate on the actual better response of the touch controls. Poorly priced, poorly produced and poorly explained, granted if you 'dig' you get some entertainment out of it, but that's only because you made the mistake of trying it in the first place.
@bezerker99
I agree it wasn't anywhere near as good as some of the hype and articles made it out, but it's soul was definitely torn from some of the lesser known Amiga platformers from the 90's, it was dripping in their blood, especially the style, customisations and music. It's definitely one I would love to Return for 10% eshop credit though. Please Nintendo have some kind of digital trade in system, an tie it to a feedback system that lets you state Why you want to trade it back in. The feedback can be used for future quality control and an indicator to devs not to waste time with poorly created products.

TAKE THE WHEEL!
Hahaha! Seeing how much my bulls**t argument stumped you was worth the self-deprecation!
@spizzamarozzi: I wish I'd read your review before buying Paper Monsters Recut. I had it on sale for half-price but still feel that I've wasted my money. The Nintendo Life review is wrong - the tablet version is superior despite the touch screen controls because it runs faster and there is less empty space on the screen. But it's pretty dire even there. I hate it when I waste money on a game that can't even entertain me for a little while.
Typoman has been a pretty big disappointment. It has probably been the worst I bought when compared to my expectations and price. I have bough cheaper ones that were probably lower quality but I didn't expect as much from them. Really a shame since I enjoyed the demo so much.

Not the worst, but some games I bought recently that were disappointing.
Momonga Pinball Adventures, on sale for 2,99€
Starting as a charming pinball game (for kids) with online highscores, and many achievements, it didn't take long to realise the "ball" physics are totally off which makes some of the challenges very frustrating (you can get used to it though).
After 11 levels the game tells you "to be continued..." so there's no conclusion to the story and no ending.
But the biggest flaw are its frequent random crashes. Even for such a low price a game shouldn't be THAT broken.
Ascent of Kings, for 1,99€
Coming from Nostatic's other game The Quiet Collection, which is an innovative and fun adventure, I hoped Ascent of Kings had a comparable amount of detail, innovation, humorous NPCs, and interesting puzzles. How wrong I was. The graphics are very simple and undetailed, the game is just an hour long, the music is tacked on and unfitting, there aren't many NPCs and they're not interesting in the slightest. While the gameplay is ok, it is just one dungeon (think a basic Shovel Knight or Elliot Quest with just one level) If it had a timer you could at least speedrun this game, but it's lacking that unfortunately. It's nice to have a map on the GamePad but man is it ugly. This should have been an unlockable bonus game in TQC, as a standalone release it's lacking on all ends. Even though I knew this game was short I expected better from Nostatic.
Having said this, there's more effort put in these games than in all RCMADIAX and Ninja Pig games put together. ^^
Kung Fu Rabbit, no question.
I bought it in a sale because it looked cool and it was really cheap.
Like, really cheap (could reflect on the game itself)
Bland design, unoriginal characters and cheap deaths make it one to avoid.
Dear future me,
Please remember to add a funny signature here.

Not really horrible, but Harmoknight did nothing for me except the Pokemon stages, also the beat wasn't working properly most of the time, even if other people tried it, it was always like 0.025 seconds off of what appeared on the screen which made it unenjoyable. Armillo was like the dev showing how he can make N64 style levels but leave out all originality beyond that in terms of visual design. The game itself isn't boring but it's not overly exciting either.
