Since WiiWare games didn't really get updates, it could be developers' chance to update their WiiWare games and bring it to another audience. And now, they won't have to worry about any size restrictions. Perhaps they could put some sort of system in place similar to the virtual console, to where if you already bought it on the Wii you could purchase the upgraded version for ~20% the original cost.
I've been playing Blaster Master: Overdrive lately in Wii Mode and I just can't help but wish this game would get upgraded. Add 16:9 display and gamepad, pro controller and classic controller support. Along with Miiverse, of course.
As long as the developer would spend the time on it, I think the obvious upgrade any of the WiiWare games would be HD graphics and extra levels. Like what Wayforward did for Mighty Switch Force Hyper Drive Edition.
So what do you guys think? What WiiWare games would you like to see get upgraded and put on the Wii U eShop?
mega man 9 and 10.
castlevania the adventure rebirth.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
I'd love to be able to play La-Mulana on the gamepad. (Ok, I kind of can right now using Wii mode... but being able to use the gamepad controls instead of a separate Wii remote would be incredible.)
The Konami "rebirth" games totally deserve a bigger audience, although I'm not sure how much better they would fare on Wii U at this point. If possible, they should really be released across all platforms.
its sad that they couldn't have supported wii ware and vc games properly from the start. let us have the icons on our wii u menu so they just automatically open up in wii mode. why did it take them a year to get game pad screen support added? why is it so hard to map gamepad buttons to wii mote/classic controller buttons, and to use the touch screen as the wiimote pointer.
Yes, all i want is mega man 9 and 10 on the wii u shop.
And as others have stated, have the Wii icons on our Wii U home screen and just have them open in Wii mode.
Most of the WiiWare developers are either out of business or have sworn off working with Nintendo ever again. I don't think we will see many WiiWare updates.
EDIT: I was joking about them being out of business (some probably are though), but I guarantee most of the WiiWare developers did not see a dime from their games due to Nintendo's backwards policies.
