Spam - verb: 1. send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.

Well excuse us for assuming you were using a word correctly...

well, if we use that definition then it would still be wrong as we were talking about sending different messages with the same theme to a single recipient on the internet...

...well, my point is that the OP is confusing everybody by using the wrong word. I'm not asking you to spam. I'm asking you to use English correctly. If you didn't want people to spam, don't ask people to spam!

Well to be exact, I didn't use the word in the OP, I used it in a follow up post "spam Dan Adelmann" who has nothing to do with the game, but does work with Nintedo. I don't have to say it is a figure of speech, or that I am using it figuratively, I just have to trust that people would have common sense. I see that isn't the case.

Second and more to your point, this is an internet forum. Really? Really? Is it that important? Did you guys miss the point entirely? (that's not a personal you)

It's important because now you're saying we're the idiots when you're the one who screwed up. "spamming" is not a figure of speech, it's a word. A word with a specific meaning. If that's not what you meant, don't use the word. If you meant something else, then say that instead.

Dude, my friend has a PS4 and Tower Fall Ascension is so fun. It could totally go on the Wii U. On a Wii remote, A is Jump, B is Shoot, Nunchuck to move/ Aim when firing, and Z + side on nunchuck for dash. On the gamepad and pro-controller, same controls. It would really mean a lot if this happened, so please make it happen.

Sorry, organizing "operations" and stuff that involve bothering someone else to get something is actually against the rules.

If you guys want to just talk about this game here, then by all means continue, but let's not start anything, ok?

(What's this game about btw?)

The game looks awesome, although I haven't played yet.

It's a multi-player arena battle game where you have a bow and limited ammo. The trick is that after shooting you need to track down the shot arrows to shoot again. So fast, frantic action that is (essentially) just a local multi-player experience. I know Wii U doesn't have a strong install base, but the game seems pretty much tailor made for the type of experience I usually associate with Nintendo consoles.

Not starting any kind of movement, but I do wish it would come out on Wii U too and understand why others would have the same interest.

Think you guys are getting overexcited. Usually when devs say that, it's either code for "We signed an exclusivity deal with Sony (or whoever)" or translates something like "We have far too much on our plate already. Last thing we need right now is to start thinking about porting to yet another platform".
