Topic: Toki Tori 2

This game is releasing today for Wii-U eShop so I thought I'd make a thread ready for this awesome game.

I'll start off by quoting a part of a recent review from Gamers Xtreme:

Simply put, Toki Tori 2 is one of the most refreshing, unique experiences of 2013. Two Tribes has delivered a superbly crafted world to explore, with astounding visuals, charming audio and clever gameplay mechanics. The Wii U has become a prime console for developers to bring indie titles to and Toki Tori 2 is a stellar example of originality and creativity at its finest. Two Tribes deserves a round of applause, as Toki Tori 2 ranks up there amongst Braid, Limbo, and Journey. If you own a Wii U, there's no reason why you shouldn't pick up Toki Tori 2.

Toki Tori 2 will be available today at a special reduced price at £11.69. The offer ends on the 25th of April where it will go back up to £12.99.

The game's size is only 531 MB which is pretty darn good. It should take less than 30 minutes to download and install.

I can't wait for this to be released later today.

The first toki tori wiiware is one of my favourite wiiware games. I have since bought it for PC, PS3 and bought the GB version on VC. I like how it looks like a cute kids game but is actually really difficult.
I’m really looking for the second one, the graphics look fantastic, I have stopped myself from watching any videos of it so I don’t know any of the puzzles.

I'm in for this game.

Strange how most reviews mention the game boy original, but not the wiiware version. That was the superior version in my opinion, with the iPad one a close second.

This game looks like a huge amount of fun.

Anyone played this already? I loved the first Toki Tori but I don't know if the incredible slow pass is anything for me?

I love it, beats the 1st game by miles. Love the open world setting. The only problem I have is that some puzzle's are hard but that's not a bad thing.

Yeah some of them are challenging but miiverse community is a big help

Toki Tori 2 is much better than I thought. Enemy design at its finest. And tons of very creative and challenging puzzles. Wrapped up in polished, beautiful graphics and many lovely tunes. Openworld exploration is very rewarding as well.

I know Toki Tori 1 is very different but I guess I have to download that one (WiiWare) as well.

Is this game worth buying for 3 Euros? I really enjoyed the first one.

@Oubie: you could've bought it at full price and still get a lot of bang for your buck. It's totally different from the original but a very good game. I really enjoyed it.
