thanks, ive watched the treehouse evenyt... it looked it ran really smooth on the 3DS
in my country the 3ds version will be something like 5$ cheaper... i'll think about it once the review are up
WIll probably pick up the 3DS version but man this is game is everything I dislike about Modern indie games. Its a 2D retro inspired platformer. I love the 16 bit era as much as the next guy but why are only Platformers the only thing that gets made by indies. Where's the fighters, rpgs, and beat em ups.

If this was any other indie game ever, I would have agreed, but this particular retro inspired platformer intrigues me more than any before it.

Well, in this case it's being made by ex-WayForward staff. They basically specialize in platformers.
And it's not another puzzle platformer so it's already ten times better than most indie platformers. Seriously, action platformers will always be better than puzzle platformers.

I don't understand this delay for EU at all - why not release the game and patch-in the rest of the languages at later date. And now we have a nonsense with waiting god knows how long with the game actually being released everywhere, except Nintendo platforms in Europe.
After watching few gameplays I'm hyped for the game and can't wait for it to hit WiiU.
sadly I'll have to pass this one, same Brazilian Eshop rant some of you might be tired of seeing me post...

Quick question: How much is Shovel Knight going to be on Wii U in the U.S.? I was under the impression that it was $15, but I heard there was a price difference in the Wii U/3DS versions and just wanted to check.

Considering IGN appears to have brought back the arbitrary "out of 100" system, I'm surprised they didn't give it more than a 9.0, especially after calling it the best game released in 2014. But then again, that's why I don't give much weight to scores. Anyways, nearly everything about the game sounds good. Only little niggle the reviewer noted was a lack of enemy diversity, but I could easily get over that.
Edit: Downloaded... Why is B confirm and A back? I hate when games do this on Wii U. This isn't even on Xbox or Playstation so why aren't the controls mapped to make sense for Wii U? (Not sure if the 3DS has the same problems)
Guess I'm late to the other topic since I thought I was watching this one. Don't care for how they lumped all the versions into one review but I like the review none the less.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
