I saw nothing about this when searching through the Nintendo Support website, so I have a question:
If I used a code to buy a game to download it, can I still refund it?I researched the game and THOUGHT I'd like it, but I was wrong.
So can I get a refund from Nintendo, or do I have to contact the people who gave me the code (I bought it on game) or is there no hope what so ever? Thanks!
P.S sorry if there is a section for help, this is my first ever post on Nintendo Life
You could probably get the refund if the code was unused, but I assume now it's too late... otherwise everyone would be doing so getting the code, using it and asking for the refund, therefore getting the money back and having the game downloaded. That'd be too perfect

Hmmmm, maybe take a picture of the code and put it on here. I may be able to inform you if it's refundable or not. It depends.

GoG and now Steam both offer refunds, so hopefully it's something that will come to consoles eventually. They can set up rules like the others have. Refunds only possible for 1 or 2 weeks after purchase and if the game has been played for 2 hours. Obviously requesting the refund automatically removes the game from your device.
