The Wii U's browser single-handedly destroys xboxlive and psn. for my tastes at least.
It's lightning fast, easy to use and runs like a dream. Not even my PC's browser is that good.
I watch more movies over the wiiu browser than on TV/DVD and BD combined.

for me Miiverse is just the icing on the cake. I can spend hours there. It's also the best "sales assistant"(for games). much better than any Videogames magazine or online review website.

I agree nice browser but I can't get any movies to work or shows. Seems like everything takes flash these days or other plug ins. Any tips?

HTML5 use is growing as a new standard for faster internet features. I can't remember which online map(i.e. mapquest), uses HTML5 and you can use it just as well as a computer using touch control. Nintendo has talked about Java and other software for use on the console. There's an artical here at NintendoLife. Sorry about no link...

Yeah but I can't send my tabs on WiiU to other devices. I can send my tabs of what I'm viewing onto my computer, phone and tablet through smart glass.

Depending on what you want I'd say

XBL>PSN>NN
PSN>XBL>NN

also we don't know what the next iterations of live and PSN will bring.

I'd say more like this:
Xbox Live<PSN hands down in everway
I'm probably the minority, but NN doesn't bug me. At least I can use the same e-mail for multiple accounts, and I would rather play the Wii U over the other consoles.

Nope PSn does t have as much entertainment stuff as Live does.

But again really shouldn't compare instill about six months from now.

Ya, we have to wait and see what those companies 'next form' are. I still like PSN better. I know it doesn't have as much media, but I don't really go for that usually anyway. I bought PS3 multiplats specifically for the free online and PS3's versatily overall. As for Wii U, the hardware and games are just better, so I feel like I'm neglecting my true interest by not moving forward with it. There's not one reason to buy a multiplat game that's on Wii U for any other console. EDIT: In my case specifically. not speaking for everyone, but Nintendo's doing good I think. I don't need all those other things anyway.
Nintendo is working on better firmware and software constantly according to a pretty recent interview, where they state they are improving HTML5, Java, and making sure multimedia is around for along time, whatever that means. They're doing other things besides worrying about whether online works to what we've seen.

Regarding PSN and XBLA which is better is purely subjective - if you prefer entertainment stuff than yes, XBLA is the better service.

But in terms of a gaming experience PSPlus is better than anything you can get on XBLA, so Sony wins it there.

I personally prefer the entire experience of PlayStation over Xbox 360, but I appreciate what Microsoft has done with it.

Nintendo Network is wonderful theoretically because of the 'clean' experience that it offers (No flamewars, no excessive trolling, and I actually want to play multiplayer for once because voice chat is not included). Still, its rigid in design and lacks the overall flow that PSN and XBLA offers.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the Nintendo Network the most, but that's because I could care less about the parts that make PSN and XBLA so great (except Playstation Plus which is a wonderful service... that I don't use). Its not that I prefer offline coop either, I just like a clean console experience with as little forced online interaction as possible. The few online features that it offers are basically all I want: A forum to post on and a basic overview of what the majority is playing. The other two platforms seem to get really in my face with all of their online stuff, but maybe I am being unreasonable and just like the Nintendo charm in all of this.

I would say deciding which is a better 'gaming experience' is very subjective. : /

In true honesty I wouldn't say it's the best right now but it does have a bigger potential than 360 and ps3. Just work out some clinks and such and nintendo network can overcome 360 and ps3 online service

Okay, I know this thread is old now, but was it really necessary for people to solidify their opinions?? It's easy to conclude that both PSN and Xbox LIVE has a more comprehensive list of features than Nintendo Network, but if we're deciding which service is "better," then it should be okay for the users to post their honest opinion provided they give at least a couple of reasons. It can be objective or subjective, since this thread didn't specify how solidified the opinions should be. That's my 2 cents.
