This game comes out tomorrow but you'd have to make an effort to know that. And it may only be a DL but it's sitll $20. I've seen $1.99 indies get more coverage than this. Cross buy, level editor, online tipping, Miiverse. Seems like a lot to promote, but Mario Party 10 must be eating up all of the marketing budget for this month.

They might just test a different kind of marketing approach for this game: "Nintendo will also be releasing two additional levels every week for the next 50(!) weeks, for a grand total of 188 levels."

I have been LOVING this game (as if anyone is surprised by that) and will have seven levels posted tonight! And they're preeeeetty tough (I still haven't made super hard puzzles yet, but they're decent, and will require some fast reflexes )
I don't see why this thread can't be used to share levels, I know I will soon. I'll probably test the workshop by making levels I made in Mini-Land Mayhem. When I get the game anyway... I have to wait another 2 weeks for the game...

To prevent the "Plzz r8 5 starz!!" posts in this thread. People can talk about the game here, and those who are interested in sharing levels can do so in another thread.
Cool. I guess I'll get the ball rolling and make a new thread then. I'll put it in the 3DS eShop forum so that both forums are covered with a Tipping Stars thread and we can link each other in the OPs.

I wanted to do that but I don't have Mini-Land Mayhem with me atm. Maybe I'll get this game in a week or so when I'm able to get a hold of my Mini-Land Mayhem.
Glad you guys are enjoying the game. Some of the reviews are making me hesitant and a tiny bit nervous.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
3DS Friend Code: 2836-0589-3371 | Nintendo Network ID: MasterWario
The levels don't use QR Codes or anything, so the easiest way to share would be to follow one another on Miiverse, or chared Miiverse usernames so that we can search for each other's levels. To find mine you need to search "Bazly", or check my signature for a link to my Miiverse account!

What reviews are you referring to? I'd love to hear some perspectives. I think the game is great, the only thing I'm disappointed with is the tipping system. Right now the most popular level in the community levels is most popular because it was created by someone from GameXplain, and it's kind of annoying because the level has over 400 "Yeah!"s on Miiverse, is the TOP of the list so people keep seeing it and playing it... and it's not even that good --. It's super straight forward and visually kinda meh. Levels like that are fine, but it just seems like the only reason it is popular is because it's from GameXplain. How are OUR levels supposed to get noticed and how are we supposed to get stars when that's what is getting the most notice?
Still, it's a Mario vs. Donkey Kong game, combining elements from Minis March Again and Miniland Mayhem, so I'm pretty thrilled in that regard. ^^ Just that one minor thing is bugging me at the moment.
And that level sharing thread was closed faster than I was expecting. But I don't see any reason why it should be locked. We have friend code threads for Pokémon, Bravely Default, and Animal Crossing. Why can't we have a dedicated thread to share levels?
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I liked that level personally. It wasn't very challenging but it was a fun diversion. I've never played a Mario vs. DK game before so I'm not very good yet. It's obvious some thought went into the level unlike most of the stuff you see floating around and I actually thought it was visually appealing, but again this is after hours of looking at user created levels that prove Sturgeon's Law.
As for why it is popular I suspect that it being from GameXplain doesn't hurt, but also remember that they had a review copy of the game so they got a chance to put their level up first, so when people went to look for levels right at the beginning, there they already were, ready to go.
The only way to get noticed like that is play each other's levels and leave Yeah's on the ones we like! Right now if you select the "Popular" tab under "Community" games are showing up that only have 15 Yeah's. So just support each other! I've been Yeah'ing literally every level I play, partially in hope that the person will check me out and play my levels, but also because it seems like the polite thing to do.

Especially since the game revolves around sharing levels. Can you even unlock everything without playing shared levels? Don't quote me on that, but I don't think so. @Inkling, I think you should reconsinder your decision. If anything, a thread for sharing actual levels makes more sense than threads for friend codes.
Well that's kind of stupid! I think it makes sense to have a thread dedicated just to sharing levels so it doesn't clog up the main thread, and besides, this thread isn't linked in the 3DS eShop forum anywhere so it might be hard to find.
