I'm going to create a list of games that are small enough for owners of the Basic Model Wii U's who don't own a hard-drive! All games on this list are under 1GB in size, but most are much smaller.

Nes Remix 1 and 2, Blox Drop, Scram Kitty, The Abyss, Cosmophony and pretty much all of the non-Wii virtual console games with Earthbound, Mega Man X, Mega Man 2, Metroid: Zero Mission, Zelda: A Link To The Past, Zelda: The Minish Cap, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Donkey Kong Country being my top choices.
