Topic: Gift card help?

I recently bought a Visa gift card, and intended to buy a few games from the eShop. I've done it before with the "vanilla" gift cards and never had a problem, but this time I bought a different version, and for some reason I can't buy anything from the eShop. I've tried 4 times, and it just keeps telling me I entered it incorrectly, holds the funds, and asks me to try again. Now I have money barred from me for however long, and I still don't have any new games.

I've check countless times, and I can't see why it won't work. The card is registered for online purchases, my postal code is correct, the numbers are all entered correctly, but it just won't let me buy anything. It's really ticking me off, any ideas?

Doesn't it ask if the card's credit or debit? Did you pick the right one? I picked the wrong one once and couldn't get a card to work and I was worried for a bit then I realized my mistake.

Not that I'm aware of, it simply asks if it's a visa or mastercard.

Ok, that's what I meant, sorry. I guess that's not the problem then? I felt like a fool when I realized that was my problem that one time hah
