I'm very much interested in this game. However, I'm willing to hold out until it goes on sale. Sure, that means less of a profit for TK, but that's just how the cookie crumbles.
I have a feeling the development costs for the sequel are significantly lower than the original, as they probably reused and updated some character models and animations, rather than starting from scratch again...
EDIT: Spelling...
Yeah, exactly. Games like this are basically the same as the previous installment with just a few tweaks.
I'm about to start playing this. My review copy should arrive today.
The previous game was actually my least favourite "Warriors" game to date, but I rather like the manga, so I've got high hopes this one can fix things.
I just wish Tecmo Koei would hurry up and grab the Bleach license. NISA did not do the license justice with its Warriors clone.
This game is looking pretty good, but I'll have to see more gameplay... Plus, Tekken is on my next purchase list, and I don't have money for that either. Someday, though.

I had review copy for Xbox 360 and finally can talk about it. GOD THIS GAME IS BOOOOORING AS HELL. I LOVE Sengoku Basara, but this is boredom to it's maximun. Hundred of same gyus with flea brains and killing them is more boring than a Lars von Trier movie.
Well I quite enjoy Samurai Warriors 3 (which I have yet to fully explore - though I did complete all the stories) and the characters are great, but I think Fist of the North Star would be a good break from Samurai action. Plus I get to show my support for KT's download-only initiative.

I would personally recommend Orochi - there's more content (over 100 characters vs 20) and its a goofy kind of fun to have Joan of Arc, Achilles and a Dead or Alive girl running around slaughtering demons and random Chinese warlords and Samurai Warriors.
But I totally get the desire to support the download-only initiative.
That seems a bit extreme it's just another persons opinion after all... How is slapping a different score on a game gonna change it from being a mediocre borefest to a great piece of shiznit
