I wouldn't say it's too bad.Considering the speed everyone is travelling at,mistakes are going to be punished.

I don't know how everyone else is fairing but for me,the online is a mess.6 matches I've joined now and I've only managed to play one,which I finished 3rd in but it placed me last.Each match I've joined I've had to sit through basically an entire race,which the footage from is extremely jerky.I'm fine waiting to join if I know that once I'm in I'm going to be able to play but 5 times out of 6,I've either been left waiting in the lobby or stuck on a loading screen for ages then being told everyone has left the match.I'll try another couple of times but if I get the same again,i'm giving up.

@AlternateButtons: I'm not exactly the best gamer out there but I just easily beat the first 2 cups in first place. I don't think it's as difficult or unfair as you say.

@AlternateButtons: I struggled to place high on my first 2 go's at the 1st cup but my 3rd attempt I finished 1st and 2nd twice each.then topped the overall standings on the next 2 cups at my first attempt.If you use your boost in the right places and avoid hitting and obstacle or coming off the track,it's really not that hard.Even if you do,as long as it's not too late in the race ,you can come back from it.Even the 4th cup isn't that difficult once you know the tracks.I would imagine the difficulty will ramp up considerably in the next class though.

@Retro_on_theGo: Buy it, gameplay is really good and the OST is considerably better than Fast Racing League's. Although I think there aren't enough guitar riffs.

Most importantly, the level design is amazing. Each stage relies in a "gimmick" that is developed throughout the whole track.

@AlternateButtons: Well, the game is certainly challenging but I don't think it's THAT difficult (now). I just beat the third cup (1st place again) in Subsonic and I'm now at Neon Cup.

Are you using ZL/ZR at curves? Switching phases on every boost pad you find? Using your boost at the right places?

After playing through the subsonic league I've been thinking that this game could use a reward system based on your timing when switching phases. If you change the phase at the very last moment you could get an extra boost. I think this change could make the gameplay even depeer.

I too had race in which I was on the 2nd place but my position was 6th when the results showed up.

What's the best strategy when you're "gliding"?

@AlternateButtons: I'm really not sure why you're having so much problems with the first cup.I was banging off walls,missing boosts and coming off the track but still managed to finish 1st at my 3rd attempt.Having played the first FAST Racing I'm actually surprised how much fairer this one is.That might change in the faster classes though.

Also how do we join others? It seems to just put me in a room when I choose friends.

@yokokazuo: I had a room open then it kicked me out saying can't connect to server.it wouldn't let me make another.i've reset my Wii U and back on with room open.

@OorWullie I crashed at the start of that first race, but was eventually able to catch up to you.

I kept getting hit by those giant robot things in that last race haha...

Might go off after the next race.

Has anyone else had issues with the game locking up? I've had it happen 3 times already and I had to reboot my Wii U 2 of the times... The game is excellent and well worth the 15 bucks, but they've definitely gotta patch it. Too many bugs.

@yokokazuo: It's in desperate need of a map and time split but this is brilliant haha.Look forward to playing it when there's 8 of us.

Ya, I kind of wish it was more like Mario Kart 8's online friend rooms. Maybe they wanted to keep everything fast

@Freeon-Leon I think boosts are usually useful to have at those points. With a full one I went over 1000MPH while in the air in subsonic.

@AlternateButtons I think it certainly takes awhile to do well in this game and some luck with the computers, but I have found some things that have been helpful to me overall.
If you have some boost and there is someone in front of you, use it and run into them so they spin out. It will help give you a decent lead and advantage over them. Also it may also benefit you to save your boosts at times. A full meter can give you a large speed boost and catch you up a lot if you are a ways behind. Also I believe that you can go even faster if you use it in the air.
