Got some info from work, nintendo Eshop cards are going back on sale Feb 23. - Mar 1st in Best Buy Stores http://oi59.tinypic.com/vihfdy.jpg
20% off reg price. This means if you were to buy a $50, you pay $40, $100 = $80 and so forth.
keep this in mind, if you're looking to buy DKTF, with this promo you could buy a $50 for $40, purchase the digital version on eshop and only have to pay the tax (if applicable), saving you $10 vs buying the disc.
I know some of you prefer the disc, but just a money saving tip. Also you'd have to wait a couple days, since the sale would on 2.23 and DKTF releases 2.21
I plan to buy enough to prep for Smash bros and mario kart at the least. may also for DKTF, heck of a deal if you factor in the deluxe digital promo!

Do you know which country it is for? Sometime our Best Buy don't follow USA Best Buy at all including pre-order. (This is also one of the reason why Canadian spamming "Is the pre-order bonus available for Canada" when the information stated North America. The sad part is that Canadian didn't get any bonuses even it is in "North America".)

You'd actually save even more money because of the Digital Deluxe promotion going on, too.. you get $5 for every $50 you spend. I'll be buying one of these cards probably, but I won't be buying DK with them as I prefer the physical copy and I preordered it back in October anyway to get $5 off and free shipping.
Oh sweet. If this is for the US, then I'll definitely pick it up. Need to prepare for all the upcoming eShop games that I want! Will be picking up Weapon Shop de Omasse sooner than I thought too. Hehe.

^ You know... I'm kind of tempted to go digital myself, considering that I don't really see any of today's modern games becoming collectibles.. but the money I'd save on games I'd end up spending on a external hard drive. Then again.. I feel I'm going to have to get one anyway with the amount of decent indies that are on the horizon.
@Gamecubed: I know you are Canadian and look for deals a lot but do you think this will come to Canada? I really hope so.
Probably not. We don't get anything like this.
The Canadian branch of a company tends to operate differently compared to the main US branch.
Aww… Well its could be worst. I wonder if I can get the digital code from Best Buy in US? Would that be cheaper? I don't think they have digital codes for eShop cards anyway.
the only way for them to convince me buying anything on Eshop ever again is fixing that problem with the Brazilian Banks(selling Eshop prepaid cards here would "fix it" to me so it also counts)
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn
