Ninja Spirit, City Connection and Rival Turf are at least available on Wii VC in EU (if they haven't been removed).

Sky Kid (NES) is now unnecessary for me, as we get an arcade perfect port on the Namco Museum for Switch.

This the second time EU skipped Metal Marines, what a great shame! We've fans of that game here too!

And we want that elusive VS. Excitebike as well, along with those never-released-in-PAL-regions Wii games: Excitebots, Trauma Team, Mario Sluggers!

Genghis Khan II and The Ignition Factor are also highly regarded games that should be in any serious SNES collection.

And the two GBA Harvest Moon games would be awesome as well, however, we just got Harvest Moon 64 for the first time ever, so I'm ok with what we've got.

Nothing for North America this week, which brings Europe even to us with TG16 releases. Also, the ESRB has rated five more TG16 downloads for the Wii U. So we can expect these to appear in the coming weeks.

-Chew Man Fu
-China Warrior
-Double Dungeons
-Shockman
-Vigilante

Nothing for me here, I think.

I see Japan has gotten Lufia GBA.
I remember not finishing it on the GBA due to problems like it incredible sluggish battles, but would've been nice to see, if only to get Square-Enix to maybe someday give us the SNES games.

But possibly rights issues? As Natsume published the GBC game on VC (and they originally localized the game).
But the only localization Taito did themselves (and thus SE would own) was the first game.
Meaning we'd need to want Atlus to release the GBA game on VC? (and they didn't seem interested in VC, other than releasing some MegaTen-related games in Japan)

Ultimately Lufia II would be the game I'd want to see, but they'd probably be better off releasing the PAL version due to bugfixes.

38 TurboGrafx-16 downloads in the West remain exclusive to the Wii Virtual Console at this point. The ESRB has rated Lords of Thunder, Legend of Hero Tonma, Digital Champ: Battle Boxing, Break In, Power Golf, and Moto Roader. I believe Lords of Thunder will be the Wii U's first Turbo CD release.

I hope Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Gate of Thunder, if they're slated to appear, happen before the Wii Shop discontinues adding credit early next year. I plan to buy these before that happens, but would just as assume buy the Wii U versions (Especially with the relatively high TG16 upgrade frees on the Wii U's VC compared to NES/SNES/N64 games that so far has kept be away from upgrading my TG16 downloads).

Maybe it is a good idea at this point to put a list of Wii VC exclusive games to grab before the Wii shop closes. This applies to Nes, Snes, N64 and TG16 because this games aren´t in Wii U VC. And maybe to put an indication that Master System, Arcade and Genesis remains exclusive to Wii shop. Maybe also to put Neo Geo exclusives that are in Wii VC and doesn´t appear in Switch.

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

Gamexplain did a video the other day that covers much of that, for anyone that's interested.

I might try to assemble a list, if it's of any help.

For brevity and since I'm not as familiar with these areas, I'm excluding PC, mobile platforms, and plug and plays outside of Nintendo's own NES and SNES Classic Editions. Imports are included if they're region free and easily accessible without hassle on North American hardware. Rereleases on consoles and handhelds older than the Wii/360/PS3/DS/PSP generation aren't included here, minus a few available digitally on a newer platform.

On the TurboGrafx, it might be better to distinguish the cart ("HuCard/TurboChip") games and the CD games. It's not looking too likely the CD games will come. I think there's 13 on the list: Castlevania, Cho Aniki, Dynastic Hero, Fighting Street, Gate of Thunder, Gradius II, Lords of Thunder, Monster Lair, Riot Zone, SimEarth, Star Parodier, Super Air Zonk, Ys Book I and II.
The Hudson games are likely to come but third party less so. Though I think we've gotten some of the third party games on Wii U (like Hero Tonma) but Street Fighter II might still be a bit pricey for Konami to re-license from Capcom. What about the Namco games? (Bravoman, Dragon Spirit, Galaga '90, Ordyne, Samurai Ghost, Splatterhouse)
And Chase HQ is a Taito game, which means Square-Enix would hold the licensing rights and the entire gen they seem to have only been interested in VC for Japan.
