Hell, maybe we could have the Japan Only Rumble Pak editions of Mario 64 and Wave Race after all these years. XD
Maybe Japan will get the Rumble Pak version, without Rumble Pak support.
I can't remember if there were any bugfixes, but it added several voices that weren't in the Japanese first release (but were made for the US version). Peach, and more lines for Mario. (I can remember he did says "It's-a-me, Mario" in the JP first version, but not "Let's-a-go!" (I think? Isn't that what he says, I could never understand it completely.) or his cheer when he finds a Star.)

The opening tune was different, and grabbing red coins only produces one tune instead of eight different ones. I'm sure there's a few other audio differences too.
You might as well just get the Wii remake of GoldenEye seeing as the N64 one will never come to the VC.
You just got my blood boiling.
1. I have the Wii version of Goldeneye.
2. It is not a remake. It is a different game based on the same movie. Calling the Wii version a remake is like calling Ubisoft's NES version of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" a remake of Taito's NES version of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." Having the same title does not mean that it is a remake. Yes, they advertised it that way, but that was only so the game would sell better.
3. As if anyone would be just as happy with the crappy Wii version as they were with the excellent n64 version. Granted, the Wii version was not bad, but if I were to compare it side by side to the n64 one, then it is crap.
I'm aware of the situation that makes it highly unlikely that the Wii U VC would ever receive those two games, however, the question was "Which n64 games would you like to see on the Wii U VC?" That is my answer.

Dude I dont know what you are talking about but it is a remake. Thats like saying Peter Jackson's King Kong is not a remake of King Kong. Obviously you dont know the meaning of remake.

I would probably consider it more of a reimagining than a remake. Kinda like how Silent Hill Shatterered Memories was based on Silent Hill 1 but it was not a straight remake.

It is not a remake, and your link does not back up your statement. The Goldeneye game on the Wii used the movie as source material, not the N64 game. It was a very different interpretation, and yes it did take some design cues from the N64 game. But it was not based on that game. King Kong by Peter Jackson used King Kong as source material, hence why it was a remake. Simple stuff.
