I don't see it as likely. With Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD, the PS2 version of CoM got an international rerelease already, and Squenix won't support 'old' versions of their games because they can't charge enough for them. Just look at the prices for their lousy iOS remakes of Final Fantasy.
@unrandomsan Possible. They also would demand a profit share, which slims down chances even further.

Maybe not. As mentioned Kingdom Hearts 1.5 for PS3 already contains Re:Chain of Memories, which is a remake of the PS2 (actually, not PSP) remake of the GBA original (ReCOM was originally a bonus for KH2 Final Mix in Japan, but SE never released KH2FM outside Japan, but they sold ReCOM by itself as a slightly-budget game).

They support physical controls for the remakes of Final Fantasy III / Final Fantasy IV on iOS. If I didn't already have the DS versions I would rather play them like that on a nice ipad screen. (The other ones are not good enough).

Those ports aren't really good examples of Squenix doing something good in recent history. Besides, physical controls won't rescue an overpriced port with terrible visuals (I know they sold really well, but I'm referring to the actual quality behind it, which is lazy to say the least).
The thing is that it's unlikely for Chain of Memories to get re-released on WiiU since the pricing would have to be identical to the other GBA games, otherwise some people would be seriously annoyed regardless of the game's potential value or quality. And the standard pricing for GBA VC is most likely not enough for Squenix when you look at their pricings for ports. Add to that the inclusion on the 1.5HD remix, and Squenix have their excuses.
I think the problem is more the fact that no one liked Chain of Memories. They could sell it for a dollar and chances are most wouldn't bother with it...

Its not that different in price to a used DS cart so I think it is about right. The ones done just for mobile (V and VI) I agree but £10 is fine by me to use a nicer screen with real controls and a half decent version. Better value for money than Kingdom Hearts 3D or Bravely Default anyway. (Which are the two worst 3DS games I own).

Forget it! This is the same company who decide to put KH3 on XB1 but not Wii U, so chances of Wii U owners getting anything but the shovelware are slim to none. Blame Nintendo.
