The reason I didn't post this in the Earthbound thread is because I wasn't sure if people wanted ^SPOILERS^ in there (yes I understand its a 20 year old game)
I bought Earthbound for Wii U, and the last time I played it (a couple years back) I gave up at beating Frank and his robot (stupid I know). This game is known for being pretty strange and I was wondering what you think is the weirdest moment.
Spoiler stuff coming through.
For me the weirdest moment is when you leave Jeff's private school and see the Loch Ness Monster (Tessie). The Bubble Monkey flies with his bubble and the summons the thing out of the water. Then you just ride it for a little and it leaves. WTF? It also has that derpy face the whole time.

i was thinking about that part today. on my last adventure through the game i wanted my girlfriend at the time to see what the game was all about. when that part came on i called her in to see it. i like that part a lot. in fact, imo, the whole series just does something to you. thats how that series is. seriously im glad everyone else gets a chance to experience at least one game in the series. as long as you read the guide you can do well in the game. i highly recommend this guide though for a complete walk on what to do. this is a game you will want to check every corner and talk to everyone in the game. i cannot stress this enough.

Your comment about the casual monster attack reminded me about how in Twoson you could get in battles with the Unassuming Local Guy, and one time he became "friendly and affectionate" but Ness "didn't fall for it". Then I proceeded to beat the tar out of him.

I talked to one of the campers at Tessie's lake. He quite simply farted and excused himself .____. In fact, there's been a lot of that kinda action in this game
