You couldn't have made a full title? Anyways, yes, we've been getting at least one 1st Party title every week. That won't last for too long, though. They only have so many 1st party games they can put on there...

It's a common courtesy thing, according to the rules, so please try not to make a habit of it here.

We're getting 3 Kirby games soon, just to let ya know. According to Nintendo's site at least.

Kirby Super Star and Kirby's Dream Course come out this week.
Which is the third?

I hope it's Kirby's Super Star Stacker (Japan import)
but I think it's games we already have on Wii VC, like Kirby's Dream Land 3 or Kirby's Avalanche.

I think Kirby's Dream Land 3

If we get all 3 I'll be very surprised. NOA always finds a way to put out less than Japan.

Indeed.

If they are all on sale, like 50% off for the first week if you own a Kirby game, I will pick them up.

I see no point in tripple dipping. I own most of these Wii U VC releases on cart AND the Wii's VC. As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo should of started releasing NEW VC titles from the start....Earthbound should of been day 1.

We still haven't seen Mega Man 6, 7, X3,Castlevania Bloodlines, Contra Hardcorps, TMNT II: The Arcade Game, Little Nemo the Dream master, the list goes on and on. There should be sprinklettes of new games in the midst of all of these Old Wii VC releases to actually make the entire Retro dejavu-lineup feel exciting again.

Here's a point, you can spend 1 whole Donatello dollar to upgrade your Krangified looking NES games. But then that would actually require you take your Wii U out of the box.

And It's never going to see the light of day until I Battletoads 'n Beat Super Mario Galaxy 2.
But yeah, i would spend that extra dollar just to have these games on my Wii U and to play around with them on the GamePad just for kicks. But I can't see myself going through all of these games again, except for maybe Super Mario World. it's been a Crocodile while.

Also I finally went hands on with the Wii U gamepad, whoopdeedoo i know. Yet it's wayyyy cooler than i expected. It's like a NextGen jumbo sized glorified Classic controller with a big screen built in it. Not a fan of dual analog based gameplay when it comes to anything that requires you to aim & shoot, but this controller has a lot of unique and innovative possibilities for many other genere's including the mighty sidescroller!

BTW, will you be picking up Game & Wario? I know I know, "life's too short for mini games" but you have to admit it puts the gamepad to use in some truly awesome ways, like that Arrow Flinging Strawberry based mini game. Besides, your wife is going to talk you into getting it so there's no escape! haha

Heck no I am not picking up Game & Wario. I would rather spend the day rewinding all of your 80's VHS tapes then play that. A way late but worth the wait response, I know.

With Nintendo announcing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, why are thay not releasing Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble-SNES, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest-SNES, Donkey Kong Country-SNES. Before Tropical Freeze releases?

Why would Little Nemo have a hard time making it onto the Wii U VC? It was made by Capcom, who has been supporting the Wii U VC (with Mega Man, at least). Disney didn't create nor does it own Little Nemo. It could easily be argued that the game was based off the original cartoons rather than the movie. And besides, DuckTales Remastered shows that Disney and Capcom can still work together, even with another third party involved.

I like the game Little Nemo, but the last level is by far the best. In fact, I kind of hate playing the game because the whole time I'm playing it I just want to play the last level. I mean, I guess the other levels are fun, too, but the last level just blows the rest of the game away. I mean, he's holding that wand on his back throughout the whole game (even though they don't give it to him until the cutscene before the final level*). It would've just been a much more fun game.

*You could argue that it is not the wand, but when he uses the wand it's clearly not on his back anymore.

Because the character designs are based on the movie.
You're right. Disney didn't create the movie Little Nemo. Tokyo Movie Shinsha did.
And they are credited on the title screen: "(c)TMS 1989"

I see. Well, still, what harm would it do for TMS to release this game on the Wii U VC? They would make some money. And the negative would be...?

Nintendo has actually been doing pretty good on releasing their first party games for the Wii U VC, although the lack of Zelda games is bizarre. But I'm expecting that to change once The Wind Waker HD is close to being released.

Commodore 64 was quit of the VC, so it is a console we never will see in the Wii U in a future
