Spelunker for the NES is hitting the Wii U Virtual Console. (source) This means that Brøderbund games are coming, which hopefully means the Wii U will get Legacy of the Wizard! I love that game!
They also made Battle of Olympus, Lode Runner, Choplifter, The Guardian Legend, the NES and SNES versions of Prince of Persia and Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? as well as others.
Actually, Broderbund only made the Apple original of Prince of Persia. The SNES version of Prince of Persia was made by dead developer NCS/Masaya.
I believe the other ports were made by other developers.
I suppose there's a chance for Legacy of the Wizard (Broderbund was only the US publisher), as Falcom made that game and they're still alive and very happy to resell their old games.
The Guardian Legend was actually created by Compile (don't know what exactly happened to their copyrights besides Puyo-puyo) and Irem (sadly recently deceased).
